Great prizes to be won in Warlord in 1982! I never won any of these as Warlord, for reasons of their own, never printed any of my letters.

In all honesty I think I did write one letter in the 70's but am not really sure at this point. I did get a Heliograph Set for Christmas one year but I never found myself in the circumstances where I could make any use of it.

Below Leo Sayer, drawn by Brian Delaney, shows up in Buddy's Super Personality Series! More Than I Can Say was a No.2 hit for Leo in 1981. It was written by two members of The Crickets in 1959 and was a hit for Bobby Vee in 1961. It was also said to have been performed on stage by The Beatles circa 1961/1962 but no recordings are known to survive. I can believe this as several members of The Beatles were known to be fans of Buddy Holly (and The Crickets) and Paul McCartney later ended up buying the publishing rights to Holly's songs.
