Battlebond preview events are this weekend! Have you found your partner yet? The Krav to your Regna, the Toothy to your Pir? Maybe even the Retriever to your Slinger, if your LGS allows doggos.

Went 2-1 in 2HG. I went Dimir, and my buddy played Selesnya splashing Red. Every game had a Dimir player. The House is stronk.
We wound up with three packs - and that netted me a Shockland, foil Shockland, and a Mission Briefing.
Also won a raffle for a neat new playmat!
I also manages to get some new cards - some EDH toys, and a few commanders from GRN.
How’d y’all weekend pan out?

In a Two-Headed Giant game, I control Lich’s Mastery and my opponent plays Goblin Chainwhirler. How many permanents or cards in hand/graveyard must I exile?
Just one.
Even though you share a life total with your teammate in 2HG, you both gain and lose life separately with the result applied to the shared life total. Your teammate gaining or losing life won’t trigger Lich’s Mastery.
A few other notes on 2HG and Lich’s Mastery:
Hexproof only applies to your opponents. Your teammate can target Lich’s Mastery if they want to.
As long as you control Lich’s Mastery, your teammate can’t lose the game either.
When combat damage is dealt to your team, the creature’s controller chooses which member of your team the damage is dealt to. They probably want to deal it to the player with Lich’s Mastery.
Glad to see Gisa and Geralf have come to terms enough to play 2HG here at GP Vegas
Came up during Two-Headed Giant, and the event judge was unsure: how does Dreamstealer work after it deals combat damage? Do both opponents discard?
No.
When Dreamstealer deals combat damage to an opponent in a 2HG game, you choose which opponent is damaged by it and that opponent will then discard cards from the trigger. (Technically, you always choose an opponent to be damaged when a creature deals combat damage to a player in 2HG, but it usually doesn’t matter.)
How does Savor the Moment work in a Two Headed Giant match? Do both teammates skip their untap step, or just the player that cast Savor the Moment? Thanks!
In any multiplayer game using the shared team turns option, such as Two-Headed Giant or Archenemy, any effect that causes a member of a team to skip a turn, step, or phase to skip that turn, step, or phase. Similarly, any effect that causes a team to take an extra turn, step, or phase causes the entire team to take that extra turn, step, or phase.
With respect to Savor the Moment, the entire team will take the extra turn and skip the untap step of that extra turn.
Hi there. This came up the other day and I was wondering in two headed giant if I'm forced to draw my entire deck would my team lose or would it just be me to lose
You win or lose as a team in 2HG, so anything that makes one player win or lose the game causes their team to win or lose the game instead.
