They're finished! I first drew Ash-Krul about 10 years ago lol they are a mountain giant and very fucking big! They were also experimented on and have a modified intelligence. Although most of the intelligence went to Krul. Ash is just your average idiot XD

How does Teferi's protection work in THG? I'm assuming that only your permanents will phase out, but the only part of the spell that affects your teammate would be the life total lock.

You’ll be leaving your teammate lonely until your next turn, as only your permanents are phased out and only you have protection from everything, however your teammate’s life total won’t be able to change as it’s shared with you.

Battlebond Launch Party

It's the official launch of Battlebond! Get a friend and come on down to the shop and take on other teams of Magic players in a duel unlike no other!

This tournament is played "two-headed giant" so each team must have 2 people.  Each team will get a total of (6) booster packs with which to draft.  A full list of Two-Headed Giant instruction sheets will be given out in case you need a refresher!

Prizes will be given out to the Top 3 teams. We will also have a random door prize for a random team that doesn't place in the Top 3.

Battlebond, huh? A two-headed giant set to be released in early June ...that’s like 5 weeks away. Never heard of this until i stumbled across it while wiki-surfing and reading about planes (it’s set on ‘Kylem’ a sports-themed plane)

Battlebond is inspired by sports and e-sports.[2] The set contains 254 unique cards ; 85 of those cards are new and will all immediately be legal in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage. Returning favorites from throughout Magic 's history (many with new art) round out the set and cultivate an environment of two-on-two combat and sport. The Battlebond set is designed to be drafted with players who will make groups of two players for Two-Headed Giant multiplayer games.

I have Krark’s Thumb (I think that’s the name) and the newly spoiled Two-Headed Giant out. What’re the odds of me getting, say, menace from its triggered ability? Is there any interaction here at all?

There is absolutely an interaction here, and quite a good one.

First of all, let’s explain exactly how the interaction works here: Instead of flipping two coins for Two-Headed Giant when it attacks, you’ll flip two pairs of coins instead. Then you’ll choose one coin from each of the two pairs and those two chosen coins will determine what the trigger does. The important thing to note here is that you don’t just get to flip four coins and choose any two of them that you want.

In general, you go from having a 50% chance of Two-Headed Giant gaining an ability to an 87.5% chance. 25% of results even let you choose between the two abilities!

As for the odds of getting a specific result, the following chart shows the possibile results from each combination of two pairs of coin flips.

You have a 56.25% chance of getting a specific ability, either double strike or menace, from two pairs of coins flipped this way. You’re only ever forced in a specific ability 12.5% of the time when the coins either end up all heads or all tails. And you only ever miss out on an ability in the 12.5% of cases where one pair of coins is both heads and the other pair of coins is both tails.

Hi there. This came up the other day and I was wondering in two headed giant if I'm forced to draw my entire deck would my team lose or would it just be me to lose

You win or lose as a team in 2HG, so anything that makes one player win or lose the game causes their team to win or lose the game instead.

With emrakuls the promised ends enter the battlefield trigger, in edh two headed giant match, when I take control of my target opponents turn, can I make him attack his teammate? I know you cannot attack yourself but it is a different player. It sounds too good to be true but I'm not familiar on any rules regarding you teammate in two headed giant

You can never attack your teammate in any format that uses teammates.

On the plus side, you control both opponents instead of just the one. (Their whole team also gets the extra turn after.)
