Holland Experience
Day 1:
Arrival to Eindhoven -> 9 km walk from the airport to the city center; staying through Couchsurfing at Cosmin’s (young romanian guy) + Italian dinner; sleeping beauty - mom and her 12 hours of sleep..
Day 2:
Hitchhiking to Den Bosch and later on to Nijmegen -> Utrecht -> A'dam (bit crazy hitchiking due to road constructions); Staying through Couchsurfing in Amsterdam with Arthur for three nights...
Day 3:
A'dam -> lovely streets, canals, Dutch cookies...
Day 4:
Haarlem cycling trip -> Cca 45 km - from Amsterdam to Haarlem and back....
Day 5:
Hitchhikng to Delft - pretty small & very lovely; then 15 km walk to Rotterdam; staying through Couchsurfing with Sam at his hotel room (Sam was actually from Belgium but offered to host us at the hotel!!)
Day 6:
Rotterdam - the city of many modern & very cool buildings; staying through Couchsurfing with Marieke...
Day 7:
15 km walk to Kinderdijk - the tourist place to see windmills; Hitchhiking to Eindhoven -> crazy hitchhiking experience - getting picked up by the police and later dropped on a gas station to catch another ride...; Staying through Couchsurfing in Eindhoven, again at Cosmin’s place...
Day 8:
Getting a ride from Cosmin, in his new cool Mustang, to the Eindhoven airport -> and back to Brno...
