I can’t be the only one that thinks the beta owl house characters give out the same vibes as the 2P! Hetalia character?!?! Please tell me I’m not the only one thinking this, like come on beta Luz and 2P America are pretty much the same 😫

2p Italy { Luciano Vargas } -

The thought that truly terrifies him the most, is being used by someone he genuinely loves. 

It isn’t a surprise that Luciano is indeed, a flirtatious and charming man.

But he tends to stray away from truthful acts of romance due to the insecurity that said person is using him for his riches and influence. 

Which forces him to have half-assed flings and the occasional one-night stands in an attempt to fill some of the emptiness. 

That being said, once he believes he has found the right person who put in all the work to wedge they’re way into his heart Luciano’s insecurities would’ve melted away. 

So if he were to ever hear/figure out the falsities of his partner, the world would reverse back to where it started: Meaningless.

2p Japan { Kuro Honda } -

Throughout Kuro’s life he faced countless obstacles and burdens that could be defined as unbearable. Yet here he was, still alive and somewhat sane. Therefore, his fear would correspond with the notion of weakness. Being seen as weak, flawed, and powerless, was by far the most demeaning thing to him.

Stubborn as Kuro is he would admit, he experienced failure before. But then with upmost pride, he’ll state that whenever he gets cut down, he has the power to spring back up. 

It’s just the period of being at rock bottom that sticks with him in the long run. Despite how short the era might’ve been. 

Hence, being a perfectionist became ingrained in his personality.

2p Germany { Lutz Beilschmidt } -

Being taken away from his home never fails to scare him. 

To Lutz, it isn’t the location that defines a home, it’s the people who reside in it. 

His brother was the biggest factor towards this. Because he was the only one who raised him, and supported him without question. This especially hit him hard during the aftermath of World War 2; when Germany was split from West and East. 

The humiliation of losing didn’t even come close to the feeling of loneliness. As a result, he kind of. . . drifted for a while and became an irritable, melancholic husk of what he once was. 

No one came to his rescue—not even his 1p since he was all too busy. Until the Wall of Berlin Came crashing down, did he return to his normal self. 

After the past events, Lutz is willing to move heaven and earth to make sure that nightmare doesn’t happen again. Despite his usual laziness.

2P!Germany:

He thrives a bit on the messier side of things, and will leave dirty dishes lying around a lot. It’s not that he wants things to be dirty; he’d just rather wait until he has a large pile of things to clean than keep at it every day. 

He has “a chair” where he stores clothes he’s worn once or twice, but still aren’t quite dirty enough to wash yet.

He’s that roommate that will leave CDs of obscure bands you’ve never heard of on your desk, expecting you to listen that night so he can ask what you thought.

Somehow, he is illegally keeping and raising a Maine Coone in his room. The litter box is the only thing he does clean daily.

If you had a hard day, he is absolutely going to shove you on the couch for ice cream, wine, cuddles, and Gilmore Girls. With the cat. Who’s probably named Pretzel.

2P!Japan:

He jokingly flirts with everyone you bring into the apartment, from your grandmother to your actual s/o.

He makes you flip a coin to decide who’s cooking supper tomorrow night.

Often, he wears a blanket around the flat, using it much like a cape, and calls himself “King of the Cul-de-sac.”

Though he has his own room, he has a bunk bed. He claims that the bottom bunk is his “cave,” and the top is his “perch, from where I can judge lowly bugs like you from high above.”

You often wonder if he even has a social life, because he rarely has anyone else over, and he seems to think 3 am trips with you to the grocery store are heroic quests to save the kingdom from certain peril.

Seriously, this boy has no life. Please take him out more. He’s getting like no Vitamin D.

2P!Veneziano:

The annoying mom-friend who always remembers your doctors’ appointments.

Thinks that if he violins loudly enough, he can win the argument about why he put extra money into his share of the rent this month.

The rest of the flat can be a war-zone, but if his kitchen is not spotless, you will hear about it for months on end.

He spends almost $200 on cheeses every fortnight, and yet he wonders why you never touch it for your toasties.

He’s the roommate who will come into the bathroom while you’re in the shower and sit on the toilet lid so he can rant about his brothers.

He’s walked in on you while you were changing once, and didn’t even look away. He’s was too busy already reading a news-story to you about a recent diplomatic movement that could only end “horribly, in the worst way possible. Why are you standing there with your mouth open? Are you even listening to me?”
