I've been missing php & res today and yesterday. S pushes me sooo hard, and last night it was more than I could handle. In php and res, there was always extra support, and a backup solution to fill in the nutrition gaps when we were pushed too hard. Last night I didn't know what to do, so I had ice cream and cereal. Which is fine I guess. But I feel like shit for struggling so much with dinner. It's a reality check, bc with my parents they're quick to whisk away the food I've questioned and make me something I'm willing to eat, whereas S will cook what he wants (and consider what I like—but not what I'm scared of). He will serve food up until its actually gone bad, and not throw it away (as I would) the moment the produce stops looking perfect. He's seen me struggle enough that he gets it, but he also knows when I'm being disordered. He'll call me out on picking at my food or picking out "imperfect" spinach leaves or tomatoes or whatever. It's like every night is a meal group, except it's one on one. It's too much right now. Blahhhhh

I feel like I'm in that moment in life were you transition; the part were you go from one role to the other. You begin to discover who you are, but it's still unclear and at the same time you see yourself stepping into the shoes of those you looked up to in your childhood. It's kind of scary, but I'm excited for the discovery and the adventure.
