Day 4: medical call-stroke. 1 hour hike to the patient. Bird on standby. Called back and said it may have been a seizure. FD reached the patient first, hydrated over a good period of time. Patient was able to walk himself out.

Days 14 & 15: unplugged from the socials to recharge.
Day 5: the magnolias are blooming
Things in the world are rough right now, and in no way do I want to discount this fact.
I do want to highlight some good things though.
Day 1: I am grateful to have a great team to work with daily, and a supportive team from my last deployment that I'm still talking to weekly. Working with competent and reliable folks should never be taken for granted.
