Louis Tomlinson Shares Original 'Walls' Demo to Celebrate One-Year Anniversary of the Album

It's been a year since the release of 'Walls,' Louis Tomlinson's debut solo album, which arrived on Jan. 31, 2020.

The former One Direction member joined fans on Twitter on Sunday (Jan. 31) to mark the anniversary of Walls. In honor of the special day, Tomlinson also took part in a little fan Q&A, chatting about topics ranging from the making of Walls to post-pandemic plans.

"1 year of my first album Walls. Crazy how quick the time has gone. When I finally get to tour this album it's going to be f---ing unbelievable! Sending you ALL a massive thank you for everything you do! This is our day!" Tomlinson tweeted.

"I was going to do some merch but I didn't want to market the day. Just wanted it to be a celebration for us! So you'll have to wait for new merch!" he added. When someone pointed out that many celebrities might have turned the anniversary into "a cash grab," Tomlinson commented, "Too many greedy f---ers out there!"

One fan asked, "A year after walls' release, do you think you could have done something differently?"

"Don't think so," wrote Tomlinson. "All part of the process. Still really proud of it."

In another tweet, he shared that prior to the album's release, he'd been most excited for listeners to hear "Kill My Mind" and the title track "Walls" for the first time.

When asked whether he'll eventually go on tour in honor of the Walls album, he replied, "When it's safe of course!!"

Tomlinson also took a moment to offer some advice to those who are having a hard time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Remember that everything is going to be better when normality sets back in," he wrote.

Alrighty, as apparently I made some people jealous sending them waffle pictures yesterday xD here's the recipe!

For 4 people, or if you're alone but have some space in the freezer & want to toast waffles later, you need:

Waffle maker

6 eggs

600g flour

1 bag (3 spoons) baking powder

300g butter

200g sugar

~400ml water (fizzy water if you want them extra floofy, or if the batter had been standing for a while add some fizzy water in as well, but usually tab water is fine)

Voluntary flavour ingredients: grated lemon peel Or lemon juice Or a spoonful of cinnamon Or a handful of chocolate chips Or 2 spoons Arrak Or a pinch of vanilla extract. I mostly use lemon peel or vanilla, but the waffles are good without any of them, too. The chocolate chip version can make a mess cause they're going to melt in the waffle iron, be warned. You can also experiment with your own addition, but be aware that experiments are, in fact, experiments. (Note: gummi bears are a bitch to get out of the waffle maker. Don't.)

Sieve flour and baking powder into a bowl

In a different, bigger bowl, stir together Butter and Sugar, add the eggs and whatever flavour ingredient you're using.

Then in turns add some of the flour and stir it until it gets too hard for the whisk/mixer, then add water until you can stir again, repeat until the batter is done! You don't need to add all the water if the consistency is right, but I think you need at least ~300ml

Bake, & serve for example with whipped cream and cherries :)

If you want to freeze them for later, don't bake them till they're too brown, else they're going to burn in the toaster.

Hi I am a big fan of the old guard and loves andy and quynh together. Its canon lets not kid ourselves. I find it interesting is that andy likes to always be head first of fights and takes charge every single time but in one flashback scene or picture promo pic she is seen with quynh walking together together side by side. I imagine quynh was the only one she allowed to take charge with her or quynh demanded to be treated as an equal. Andy must have really loved her that much.

Absolutely agree, Andromache wouldn't just let anyone take the lead. But consider this: Andy only needs to Always be in control, Always go first since Quynh is gone, because she feels responsible for what happened to her and can't let it happen to anybody else!

I think in the past, Andromache would have let others lead the way to a fight, even mortal soldiers, with a bit of a condescending grin on her lips and a 'you do you' attitude, like dealing with children who don't know what's good for them yet. But after Quynh, maybe already after Lykon's death but definitely even more so after Quynh is gone, she can't be so nonchalant about it any longer, and she Knows she's the most experienced in every situation, she's the eldest, she Needs to go first.
