Vriska's luck has just run out, as her victim has crash-landed in front of the worst person imaginable - the justice-motivated Seer who knows her intimately. She's basically already been caught.

Terezi just wanted a quiet place to think, as she sorts through her complicated feelings surrounding Green Dave's death. A murder investigation will at least serve as a distraction.

It's a pretty trivial one to solve, too. There’s only one troll on the meteor with a grudge against Tavros, and it wouldn't be the first time she's pushed him off a cliff. I don't think Vriska will be talking her way out of this one - and that's if she's even bothered to try.

If Vriska's starting to kill again, she might have decided that it's time to abandon the team completely. This could be the moment she sheds her (already disputable) anti-hero moniker, and graduates to full villain.

Normally I'd be all for some orb-pondering, but that one is a rare exception. Scratch hates when people use those things against him, and if Rose tries anything clever, she might end up joining our growing assortment of Captain Hook cosplayers.

(Also, it’s both tragic and darkly hilarious that the first Rose/Jade conversation of the entire Act is happening offscreen.)
