Did anyone else absolutely fucking hate the 3d covers of books like Deltora Quest as a kid?
Like, the books themselves, absolutely fine, seven year old me loved that shit - think I’ve still got the entirety of Deltora Quest 3 in a box somewhere and one of the second series. But whenever my finger touched those fucking 3d covers? Ew. No. My fingernails still itch whenever I hear something similar. Dunno if I’m just viscerally against textures but I hated those covers.
