Weight loss So I'm just typing this for myself but if you want to give me tips or something feel free! (Picture with striped shirt was me in May the other one was last month) Around April of this year I realized I needed to do something about my weight. I remember going to get my permit and thinking I weighed 170 lbs. next thing you know I ended up weighing 197. I was shocked. According to the charts I was barely at the point of being obese. It scared me because I know all these health problems that can happen to you. I've always been overweight. My family is mostly over weight. So I knew it was going to be tough especially in a Mexican household. Haha. I told myself this summer I was going to workout+eat healthier. It started around June though. I ended up loosing 10 lbs around October. It was the best feeling ever!! Then in mid November I weighed 177. The lowest I have ever weighed in a long time. But after my grandpa got surgery for some reason I stopped trying. It was during thanksgiving and well I was eating a lot of junk food since his surgery was in another city and I didn't care..I completely forgot about my whole weight loss. I came home days later to find out I weighed 183. That fast I gained so much. And right now I weigh around 181-184. Depending. I stopped trying:(... But this week I'm going back. I can't keep eating and treating myself like this. Just because I've been stressed with school I shouldn't give up. Anyways I'm about to go to Mexico next week and this is why I'm typing this. I'm not sure I'll have time to be online since my great grandma doesn't have Internet and I hate going to the town tbh. Maybe this year wasn't about loosing 25 pounds like I planned. Hey at least I lost 10+ pounds and that's something. This year I found out what is and isn't good for me. Emotionally I'm a better person. I'm getting there and I'm proud of my accomplishments. 2017 will be different. I'm planning of working out @ the gym with my best friend! Shout out to her for always believing and supporting me throughout this. I also plan on eating wayyy better. If I can I'll try to be vegetarian but if not well that's ok too. (It's too hard:(..) My goal is to at least weigh 150 lbs (or less) around November. I'm thinking of uploading monthly videos just to get myself motivated. I want to be healthy. I want to be fit. I'm done living like I've been living.
It is okay to do the same thing at the gym everyday, don't listen to what others tell you. No one knows your body and what works for you, but you. If you do the same workout, just make sure you challenge yourself in many variable ways instead. Whatever you do, know that cardio is the way to go. #slimB4trim
