Anyone have any fun ideas for traps/obstacles/etc. in a paranoid rich guy's house? I've only done this sort of thing for low level parties, but now my party is mid level, so things can get way more exciting than the standard animated objects/trapped safe/trick stair sort of deal.

Brinedge: Vestige

Gifted to Gamba the Bane, the most famous and revelrous pirate of all time, by Melora the Wildmother and Earathis the Lawbearer ages ago, this Vestige is a powerful sword that commands the very waters themselves. Since Gamba’s fall to the depths of the deep ocean, the sword has made its way to his daughter, Bahari Vissara (PC) and has blessed her with a new Warlock Pact - the Squall.

This homebrew is unique and tailor-made for the PC in mind, however it is an interesting item for any Swashbucklers, Pirates, or other water/nautical based PCs one may have. Feel free to test it out have fun with this crazy weapon!

Varian Fogcaller - he’s an elven wizard who served as an NPC in a campaign i was dming for! he’s got a black cat familiar named Ero! varian was from this lil village called easthallow and on all hallow's eve he walked into some fog and disappeared from the material plane! he’s also partially going mad during his extended time in the shadowfell, and his exposure to the realm has caused his skin and soul to corrupt ! ;) 

Doppio of Sleeping Jungle - he’s a bitter tabaxi cleric (trickery domain) that hates his clan, i played him in a oneshot where he was lv 10, he’s a compulsive liar and often covers his face with that mask he’s holding. his best friend is a bard named gendrick. and!!! he worships the goddess of illusions, Liara, and is obsessed with mist, maces, and coffee !!!
