It’s 616 day, which means you get a happy Tony!
Some 616 stevetony doodles for 6/16 day!
Also ft a couple of the doodles are inspired by sineala's Think of this as solving problems (that should never have occurred) which I love and lives in my brain rent free. I have trouble with Steve's poses alas but I really like how the tonys look 😊
Happy 616 day!!
Cartoon party in the Stony 616 server tonight! I can’t waaaaitttt!!!!!
Happy 616 Day!! Just curious, where/how do you read your comics?
Ahhh tysm!!!
So I use readcomiconline.li for older series (aka I use this one the most) it’s got a huge selection and basically everything you could ever want to read from before 2015, but the downside is you’ll have to invest in some kind of adblock. I usually read comics on my phone, so I use the AdBlock Pro app, which has a super cheap yearly subscription.
I also use readcomicsonline.ru (I know, small differences lmao) which is better for keeping up with current publications. Ads seem to be somewhat less of an issue on there but I’d still recommend an adblock. Also I’m pretty sure I totally got all of this based on @in-a-cave-with’s recommendation a while back.
Happy reading!
616 Day / 2 Year Anniversary!
So. It’s been TWO WHOLE YEARS over at You Gave Me A Home. In honor of 616 day, as well as our server’s upcoming second anniversary on June 25th, we are hosting our first ever server events: a promptfest and a team bingo! Please note: neither of these challenges are mandatory and both activities are intended to be low-pressure. The only criteria for fanworks: they must feature 616 Steve/Tony. Any level of participation is okay. Any wordcount or level of complexity is fine. Drabbles and sketches are welcome. Go wild. Give in to your ids. Don’t censor yourselves. Angst, smut, fluff: find your own way to honor Earth-616, the reason why we’re all here. Have FUN! Guidelines for the PROMPTFEST:
users submit short prompts (words, quotes, lines of dialogue, panels, etc) to our google form (available on the server).
you may submit as many prompts as you wish
prompts will be visible to all to inspire fanworks of any type.
posting of fills for prompts will take place between june 16th and june 25th.
Guidelines for TEAM BINGO:
we’ve created a bingo card for the whole server to fill!
anyone can fill any square. help get a bingo or even a blackout as a collective!
submit fills to our ao3 collection.
the goal (with highly mobile posts): collaborative bingo achieved by 06/25/19.
For more info, links to the prompts form, bingo card, and ao3 collection, hop on over to the server.
tl;dr: Write your writes, spin your songs, art your arts. Happy 616 Day!
Sunday Six 6/16/19
A few days ago I had hopes of finishing a certain story for 616 day. But today is 616 day and it has quite a ways to go, so here’s a snippet instead. It’s 616 Steve/Tony fic. This part takes place in early canon:
“—not an appropriate toy for a 4-year-old,” Jan is saying. She rolls her eyes.
“I thought he was turning 12,” Hank says, frowning.
“Oh!” Iron Man says brightly. “Trying to find the perfect gift for Franklin Richards’ birthday party?”
“Trying being the operative word,” Jan agrees. “I can’t for the life of me figure out what he’d like. I’m usually so good with gifts! And he’s so smart for his age, something generic just wouldn’t cut it.”
It's Marvel Universe day.
