Not gonna lie, that exam was suuuuuuper awful and uncomfy.....but....I'm cleared to do all the things again!!! 😍🙌🎉 Woo hooooooo!!!! 6 weeks post op already! That flew by incredibly fast. Just makes me believe the next 9.5 months (till bottom surgery) will fly by too! 😍 So, update on how recovery went: I pushed a little too hard a couple of times during = ran once pretty hard and didn't realize at the time that that wasn't ok - bled a little the next day and was completely physically wiped out - don't do that. Haha! And then a couple of days ago, I did some box jumps, and bled the day after and felt a bit wiped out again - don't do that either. Looks like I still healed up well, sooo...phew. But make sure to take it easy the full 6 weeks. It's easy to think you're feeling okay enough to do something and do a little too much out of restlessness and excitement, but more exercises involve our midsections than we realize. Light cardio and very light lifting (up to 20lbs - no ab involvement) are ok, but beyond those, it's best to be patient and take it easy. I've also experienced a few nights of insomnia throughout and some moodiness after the first couple weeks (feeling much better now so far mood-wise though!), but other than that, doing well! 😄💙🌱 She cleared me for box jumps and ab stuff and heavy lifting, and basically whatever I want now - so time to get back in the gym and get those endorphins pumping again!! Soooo stoked. 😍💪🏼🙌🎉 #6weekspostop #hysto #ftm #trans #transgender #relieved #backtothegym #resumephysicalwellnesspractices #healthandwellness #exercise #endorphins #dowhatmovesyou #itgetsbetter #happyguy #journeytome #journeytofreedom #journeytopeace (at rockwood ob/gyn center)
