okay so imagine late 60s early 70s dick grayson runs away to blüdhaven to go become an independent hero where people have never heard of the bat and he emerges as nightwing oh oh oh oh ho ohsdjknlfnwajahgwniuhgasoiuhfadosiuhnvaijdnuiebhkra oh og oh there's times where he lives off the street he . fucking runs away and cuts contact with bruce and the next time they speak is when dick wakes up in the hospital to bruce at his side who had secretly reinstated himself as dick's emergency contact.

1970s Bat Symbol - Watercolor

It is totally the Bat Shape from an old Batman comicbook cover-- specifically like the cover to Batman #232, the first appearance of R'as al Ghul.  Doesn't the Bat Logo look better with that Bat Shape when it is used like the cover on Batman #220?
