Pain

Pain has been my companion, my best friend. If anyone would ask me of anything that I know, Pain is on top of my list. Pain is something that I pretty much know and understand much more than any other feeling.

Pain had been my best friend for the longest time now.

Pain doesn’t only hurt. Nope. Pain and hurt are two different things. Hurt is that feeling you get when a part of you is not okay. Pain is much more than that.

Pain is hurt, terror, torture, sadness, fear and loneliness wrapped up in a pretty box with ribbon on top.

Pain is when every part of you hurts and every part of you is not okay.

I hate being alone with my own thoughts. The old me always seems to come back and haunt me every now and then. Why do I have to feel this way? There's no real reason for me to feel this emotional but here I am. It's quite depressing really if you ever got a glimpse inside my head. The old thoughts, the old habits.. The little voice telling me bad things about myself, trying to manipulate me. I just suddenly feel this huge load of disappointment and sadness being put on me right now. Fuck. I haven't felt this since senior year. I thought moving out would cure it but I guess it's just something that's always going to follow me. I guess it's something that will never go away.
