A New Beginning
Yesterday I opened my Etsy shop! I am pretty nervous and scared about opening it! I feel like I'm ready, but taking the leap to unknown territory is nerve racking! Not only that...but I have only posted a few items. In a way I feel like I am just dipping my toes in to test the water. I hope it does turn out well, and I do know that it will take some time and a lot of hard work for it to be a success. Oh and by the way, the name of my "small business" is "7 Frozen Cupcakes". Pretty weird name huh? I think it is unique, and catchy. Most of the items I will be selling is polymer clay creations...which is where I got the word "frozen"...and a lot of my inspiration have been cute Disney characters, or Kawaii...which reminded me of the word "cupcake", like cute and little bitty thing. So that is how the name was thought of. There are a couple of my friends who have said "what?! why that name", but for the most part, everyone likes it. Who cares if they like it or not right?...as long as I like it! HEHE
Another thing I am starting...I just want to draw more too. When I was younger I wanted to draw all the time, but I did not have as much of a "push" from friends and family as I do now. Actually when I was younger, my dad didn't seem very fond of it. Anyway, I want to RESTART my 365 Project...but I mainly want it base on drawing. Soon I hope to buy a "moleskin" sketch book, but for now...my other one will do :-) I hope to fill the pages with a drawing a day for a whole year! Wish me luck...need lots of motivation...this is one of my goals in my life that I wish to fulfill!
