Gosh I remember the first two episode of S3 where Sander wasn't still introduced. We got only glimpses of him and everybody was worried either that they wouldn't be any Bel!Even (Wow it has been such a long time since we called him that), or that they wouldn't have enough time to make them have the same tension, attraction and chemistry as the other Evak. To make them a solid couple.
We were so wrong.
It went 0 to 100 real fast. Three clips with Sander in one day where everything went so fast. Sander messing with Robbe (Booking.com 🥺) and him being so confident ! Robbe was so curious and interested by Sander. They went grocery shopping and Robbe discovers Sander's love for David Bowie. Sander is pushing Robbe on the cart while Robbe is pretending he knows David Bowie. The flirting here is everything. Sander knows Robbe doesn't really know David Bowie and tease him while explaining what he has done. Then we get Sander scanning Robbe's smile and telling him "This is expensive." that made everybody lose their mind. And of course Rebel Rebel "Hot tramp I love you so" 🥺
I was also totally amazed at the tension of 13:13 like, boys calm down, it has been only a few hours since you know each other (and now I always say that when I watch this clip. I can't help.) Sander making croques, Sander singing Under Pressure, Robbe grapping a pan (👀), the smile they share just after, the way Sander looks at Robbe and Sander feeding Robbe the croques. THIS SHIT WAS INTENSE. Robbe's gaze when he's taking a bite while directly looking at Sander in the eyes is not really PG.
It was genius to give us a beach trip where they saw each other for a week. The mutual pining was so strong !
And at the end, they turned out to be one of the Evak with the most chemistry. Like Wow !
