@dream-beyond-the-fantasy​ Hard to read the response on the shirt but the hell, It’s almost 2020 why is this shit still happening. Jimmy was an OG Cobra and it’s time people started remembering that! Especially after the success of the Cobra Kai series! Was so thrilled that my new print from Sideshow had all of the boys on there but it’s sad that’s one of very very few examples where they are all properly represented. Ugh.

When I messaged them about a problem with the shirt (Jimmy missing), they responded glibly that they didn’t list all of the students, just four.  When I pointed out that I wasn’t asking them to list Jerry Robertson, Peter, or Fred (all minor and/or uncredited Cobras), just that they should acknowledge that there are five original Cobras and that Tony O’Dell did reprise the role in Cobra Kai this year, this was their reply:

“I understand you’re upset the whole Cobra Kai group isn’t listed from the original movie. Listing only 4 of the names was an intentional decision.”

It really pissed me off.  Intentionally.  Intentionally excluding him!  It is a total disservice to both the character of Jimmy and to Tony.

I totally agree with you.  It is sad that this is still happening.
