12TH PERSON GETS: a gift from my character.
Feliks eyed the bottle suspiciously. He then eyed the man who gave it to him even more suspiciously. Sean had a big grin on his face as he watched the other man contemplate if this “gift” was indeed just that or some sort of means to get back at him. “And you said it was what now?
“Washing stuff. For your hair,” the Nord explained, pointing to his own as if the foreigner didn’t know what hair was.
“Shampoo,” Feliks clarified for the barbarian before looking at the bottle of liquid again. He had smelled it and it didn’t SMELL like poison. “How do I know this isn’t going to make my hair fall out? And why are you giving this to me? Shouldn’t you be doting on Micha?”
Sean shrugged and hooked his thumbs into his belt. “Sarine’s harassed me enough lately and I have no real use for the stuff. Some lady had given it to me for helping her. Look it’s fine, stop acting like a pansy.”
Feliks wanted to tease the man for giving him gifts but his sense of self preservation was too high at the moment. He took one last look at the bottle before holding it back out. “No, I don’t trust you.”
“Oh please,” Sean rolled his eyes and snatched the bottle back, uncorking it. “Look, see?” He poured some of the liquid into his gloved hand - the exact color of it was hard to tell due to the man’s black glove - before he ran it through his hair and rubbed it all around in a messy fashion. There were no suds but the smell of roses wafted from his head. And his hair didn’t fall out. Slightly less skeptical Feliks took the bottle back.
Later that night there was a horrible screech the likes the castle had never heard before. Warriors, maids, and guards peeked out from what they were doing to what had caused such a sound. Feliks stood outside the bathing room, naked but for a towel and shaking with rage. And it seemed as though his dark hair looked a few shades redder than normal. He was going to KILL THAT MAN.
Sean had been laughing ever since he heard the scream on the other side of the castle. Spending time with that Drelia woman had been a great learning experience for all the sorts of potions one could make.
