Agh! Okay but painful thoughts. PAINFUL thoughts. So you know BUT i am thinking about that start of memory issues at 17 specifically. That’s around the time Dean “embraced the life” (see: 2.03, 9.07). Then Dean is probably 28/29 when he makes his hell deal (he’s 30 by 5.07). And right after he makes his hell deal, he basically indicates that all of the sudden his life has come into focus for the first time in a long time.
