I love that after Edwin says "Are we now pointing out poor decisions" he shakes his jacket like you'd roll your sleeves up before a fight
The bitchy little 'since you asked for it' is just absolutely delightful

The part where they debrief what Beau was willing to sacrifice and Fjord gently scolds her is such a lovely moment tbh, I love the moment of mentorship taking place there
Hey remember Raising Dion?
It's that series about a single black mother raising her super-powered seven years old so that got circulated a lot when it was in the concept stage and then not at all when it actually got to Netflix x)
Well I'm actually watching it right now, and it's pretty sweet! It has enough classic elements to be easy to follow but the characters make it fresh and I think you guy should give it a try!
I'm also like. Retrospectively disappointed in Peter Jackson for making so many people in his movies apathetic, and having Treebeard need to be tricked into action against Saruman when in the book just hearing the news of what's happening is enough to nearly send him marching on Isengard on his own and he has to reason himself to come up with a good plan.
Like. Again, I guess it's a product of the 'lone hero saves the world all by himself' mindset, but it's just...sad that a story filled with people determined to do something, however small, was turned into the story of people waiting for someone to force them into action.

“I’m very thankful to have lived there. I can’t explain why I moved there because it was completely, not only a life changing moment, but sort of a, uhm, a serendipitous turn. I feel like the building has a special energy. While it’s sad to know that these characters that sort of drew me to the place and that called it home for so long aren’t really there anymore, it’s very comforting to think that maybe they are. Ya know I think it’s so important to keep these sort of special places - the trend now is to sort of destroy anything that wasn’t made in the 90s and... I’m so happy that it’s... that it’s still there.”
