okay but instead of Talos, an Imperial Divine, the Stormcloaks could have been worshipers of Martin Septim. Martin would have inspired cults and been worshiped after the Oblivion Crisis like Emperor Zero, but with greater fervor. Those cults would also probably be outlawed by the Medes because worship of the Last Septim would reduce the legitimacy of the Mede dynasty. Wouldn’t it make more sense for the Stormcloaks to fight, not against the Empire in the name of Talos who was Tiber Septim who was its founder, but against the Pretender sitting the Ruby Throne, and doing so in the name of Martin Septim, who mantled Akatosh and died for Nirn? Todd Howard you have so much to answer for.
