i was watching 02x14 and realised how much harry idolised bobby from the very start because 'fighting fires is cool !!', so cool that he set a fire and thought it'd be cool to put it out

he'd always thought bobby was 'cool' and always wanted to be like him and do what he did since bobby came into his life at the ripe old age of 11?? and that was enough to inspire him

buck taking him on a ride along only confirmed his plans he had had for eight years, plus he had already dropped out and was 18 so he became a firefighter as soon as he could

also bobby said he didn't go to college and apparently that was 'cool' too probably where harry got the idea from and athena might kill him for it but wtv

rewatching Broken (02x14) and the moment when Eddie is trapped in the house with the kid and everyone is beginning to panic and the tension is mounting and Chim calls Tommy and we don’t know how Eddie is going to get out… and then the sound of the incoming plane is both a relief and kinda scary? Bobby and Buck yelling at everyone to take cover like it's a bomb and yet the wave of relief that someone is out there and willing to help. yeah.

And the thread of fate of it all when Buck looks up at the plane. Like you don’t know yet Buck, but the pilot in that plane who will save your best friend’s life… he’s someone special. I recognize you from the future. Find me in the future etc etc.
