9-1-1 has had multiple opportunities to define Buck’s sexuality, but side-stepped it, all the while verbalizing bisexual stereotypes.

Believe Me, 9-1-1 Season 8 Just Made The Much-Clamored Eddie & Buck Romance More Possible With Their Separation

It sounds counterintuitive, but it's real.

Ryan talking about how important it is to him to show the friendship between Eddie, a straight guy that he plays and sees himself in, and Buck, a bisexual guy, and how he wants to promote that kinda safe close friendship and also doesn't wanna lead people on into thinking otherwise. Cuz his priority is their friendship.

This is such an interesting read. It really highlights all the problems concerning Eddie's story over the last few seasons and especially season 7 and 8a.

Eddie Diaz In Texas? What This Could Mean For 9-1-1

Eddie admitted that he's looking to move to Texas to be closer to his son during 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 8. What could that look like?

Eddie Diaz, as a character, deserves his spotlight in 8b. In fact, there HAS to be a spotlight on him to tell his story:

His complex relationship with Christopher, with his parents, with the 118, with Buck... but most of all his relationship with himself.

His story deserves to be told. It would only make sense.
