Maybe Tommy will come back and try to take over taking care of Buck. This will make Eddie jealous since he now knows he has feelings for his best friend. Tommy sees him being all petty Eddie and decides he's gonna have to be the one to drag this man out of the closet. So he starts being extra sweet to Buck. He gives him massages, little kisses on the cheek, and holds him close.

Then when Buck is asleep and it's just Tommy and Eddie they get into it. Tommy flat out tells Eddie he is painfully and obviously in love with Buck.

Eddie gets flustered but denies.

Tommy isn't having it and tells him how wonderful Evan is and how lucky Eddie is to have his affection. And if he continues to deny it then he'd get back with Evan and treat him like he deserves until Buck loved him back because he isn't going to watch him pine away for a coward. Tommy tells him to love him properly, or get out of the way so he can.

The little domestic moments between Buck and Tommy the show could add just because… like, picture this:

On the couch watching romcoms, eating their snacks while cuddling and Tommy plays with Buck's hair. Plus some commentary on the hot actors 'cause why not.

In bed, Tommy reading a book (with glasses duh) and Buck on his phone going on an internet rabbit hole. He mentions something interesting to Tommy and he reacts, stopping his reading to see the info.

In the kitchen, Tommy is making a sauce and Buck hugs him from behind, complimenting the smell. Tommy gives him some to try and ask how does it taste, Buck says "Why don't you try some?" and they kiss. Tommy comments that it needs more salt and they laugh about it.

After dinner, dancing to some slow song, Buck's hands on Tommy's waist and Tommy's on Buck's back, really feeling the moment. When the song ends it accidentally shuffles to an upbeat one and instead of changing it, they decide to dance it out, with the weirdest moves you could see.

Instead of baking they should have written about Buck getting a tattoo every time he thought about calling Tommy. Imagine Tommy mapping them all out once they get back together again...

You know what kind of episode I wanna see? Something along the same lines as Jinx, on the lighthearted, comical end of the spectrum.

But specifically a really cartoonish episode. Like someone injures their back literally slipping on a banana peel. Someone else gets crushed by a piano falling on them. Someone crashing into a wall where someone has painted a fake tunnel on it (this one as happened in real life and we know the show likes to use real life incidents as inspo). We haven’t had a super comical episode in a while so it’s be fun

I desperately want a “Snow in LA” episode in season 8. Where Buck and Bobby are fine, chatting about how they both used to shovel snow from driveways (Bobby for 50¢, Buck for a couple dollars) and Maddie is trying to find a patch of snow to take pictures of Jee for Christmas cards (despite it being January or something). Meanwhile the rest of the fire fam are shivering because they’re all LA locals and they don’t understand how Buck and Bobby aren’t dying.

It could have a really nice opening scene too. Like, Buck and Bobby on the roof. Hen calling back to them like “it’s getting cold out here, don’t wait up too long”

Buck laughs and nods because it’s 28°F. He’s been through worse. Bobby worked a blizzard that got down to -27°F and he was just fine.

Then Buck takes a big inhale to feel the cold in his lungs. And turns to Bobby, smiling like a child, “do you smell that?”

And Bobby lights up for a second before he remembers it’s LA. “Snow.”

Random idea: Bobby’s brother shows up to visit him out of nowhere, and after a very long talk catching up, we see Bobby having shades of being the chaotic brother.

Like for example:

Bobby’s brother about to tell the fam about a very embarrassing story when a pillow gets hurled at super sonic speed.

Just realized that pairing up longtime lesbian Hen and 'King of Repression' Eddie - is genius. (in terms of a particular storyline 🤫)

Okay but what if Eddie's life-changing decision is in fact a proposal to Ana? What if he's so set on seeing this through and doing what he believes is the right thing? What if season 5A ends with a series of cases of people who took a wrong direction and ended in need of rescue? What if the last scene of 5A is Eddie at the altar, Ana before him, Buck beside him as his best man? What if the question comes, "Do you, Edmundo Diaz, take Ana Flores to be your lawful wife, to have and to hold in good times and bad times...?" and the camera pans and when it should focus on Ana, it actually ends up focusing on Buck, who should be smiling but looks so sad and hurt and lost, and then the screen fades to black and we won't know Eddie's answer for 5 months?

What then?
