Buddie Week Day 1!
Summary: Buck goes to El Paso to help Eddie with his house. The AC is still out, so they get a window unit that’s only big enough to cool one room. They choose the bedroom. They can share the bed, right?

Day 5 for @911buddieweek
Eddie is a couple of months into life with the 118 when Buck makes a delivery at the Firehouse. He’s immediately interested in the man.
Buck is shocked to discover the young boy alone in his bakery is none other than Christopher Diaz, the son of that Firefighter he can’t stop thinking about.

Buddie Week Day 1: Borrowing/stealing/sharing Clothes - Secretly Married - "I'm right here, I always have been."
Buck wasn’t sure how long they sat there once he calmed down. He wasn’t sure how long the whole ordeal had lasted all together either. Whilst everything in his mind moved fast for all he would've known time did the opposite. Eddie at one point had gotten them both a glass of water, Buck tried to stop him, tried to offer himself to do it but Eddie didn’t give him the chance. Eddie said a few words after he talked Buck through it, he just sat down next to him and allowed Buck to find his words in his own time. Buck was grateful, the silence was calming compared to the noise he dealt with earlier. He felt tired, the emotions had washed over him so quickly, like a wave, and when the wave retreated it dragged all his energy away with him. But he came here for a reason and at some point things had to be addressed.
Happy Buddie Week 2024
To all those participating, I look forward to all the amazing pieces that you all have planned! I'm hoping to try and participate myself but with work, it may not go as smoothly as the rest of you. But fingers crossed I can work something out, but if push comes to shove, I'll just have to post after the fact...

Summary:
When Eddie is trapped beneath 30 feet of mud, a change in his bond with Buck leads him out.

Happily Ever After
Summary:
Days like today, dates marked in blood, weren’t something that he preferred to fixate on. He’d done the therapies and tried to let go of the fear and the what-if’s, and they made sure to only mark the good anniversaries on their actual calendar and attempt to let the bad dates pass without reminders. But, of course, his mother could always be relied on to push the boundaries. or Eddie has chronic shoulder pain from the sniper attack. Buck helps.

Summary: Eddie moves to LA after his divorce and coming out to his parents. He implies that he’s moving in with his army boyfriend, but that’s just to piss them off. When they surprise him at academy graduation, Eddie cannot admit there was no BF, so he impulsively grabs a hot guy with pride stickers on the pack of his jeep and says quietly, “I know we’ve never met, but I need you to kiss me and pretend to be my boyfriend for like 5 minutes.” Buck 2.0 says “That sounds like a bad idea, I’m in.”

Day 7 of @911buddieweek
Prompt Love Confessions
Buck is confused by his co-workers declaring he’s in love with Eddie. It’s absurd, Eddie already has a boyfriend, and they’re best friends.
When said boyfriend takes Eddie out for a ridiculous excuse of a meal, Buck does what any best friend would do, drops everything to cook Eddie a proper meal.
Or Buck eventually figures out his feelings.
