Had loads of luck last time so if someone could please help me find this ao3 fic 😭 (jason todd & tim drake)
i remember it REALLY clearly but cannot find it anywhere:
• jason is operating in crime alley (possibly red hood, possibly using the name “strike”)
• he has a truce/deal with penguin and basically controls/protects crime alley, he makes a handmade cane for the penguin I think as a gift
• VERY heavy caretaker/caregiver jason — he’s actively protecting vulnerable people, not just doing crime
• there’s a sex worker named scarlett who’s part of his network and very high up, is sent as an envoy to penguin at one point.
• darker themes (trafficking, exploitation, etc.)
• tim runs away because the drakes are abusive / trying to sell him
• tim presents as an omega but has really bad misinformation about what that means
• there’s a major scene where tim goes into heat for the first time and jason takes care of him very carefully
• minimal batfamily (i don’t think dick is in it)
i’m pretty sure it was an ongoing fic (WIP)
i’ve searched EVERYTHING and can’t find it — starting to think it was deleted, locked, or renamed 😭
