And it just dawned on me that she was raised on 2000s anime? Like me? We've all watched the same shows here right? And you're getting irritated about Japanese conservatism (*cough* imported by the West*cough*) now? At this point, it's useless to make a fuss about former writing decisions & hesitations. Persona 4 has definitely made its money and I can assure you it's not because of the homophobia.
Ig the point of this rant is that media consumers should worry about creating a repetitive cycle of poor representation of marginalised groups. In a rational way and not in a #twitteractivism way
