So Many Questions
I started playing the Arcana recently and I have so many questions about the world itself. Like how big is the world shown on the map? Give me a span from what country in our world to what other country in our world. Not just numbers. Numbers are so much harder to get.
What is the closest real life culture for all the locations? We know Vesuvia is Mediterranean (Speciafically Italy if you look at the fact that it’s a city-state and canals are the major way of transportation, and @thearcanagame developers said they used the history of the Arcana cards for inspiration).
Is Prakra an Empire or a kingdom? Because compared to everywhere else it looks like it could be an Empire on the map.
Are there other city-states beyond Vesuvia?
How did Lucio become the Count of Vesuvia? And if he had so many military conquests doesn’t that mean he’s more like a king of a kingdom? cause it seems more like he should be at times because he tried to conquer all the way from Vesuvia to Karnassos which is more than halfway to the Sea Palace.
Does Lucio technically own all of Venterre or is there a power higher than him? The story really makes it seem like he only controls Vesuvia, but then the military conquests came up and THAT changes so much. Vesuvia would be more than just the intended city-state if this is the case.
Why is Void Lake called Void lake?
What is Hjalle like? And Galbrada?
Where are the Painted Fields, Blue Mountain Ridge, Hesperia, Milova, and Port Tremaire? These places are mentioned, but never pointed out on the map.
How big are the Southern Seas and the Sea of Persephia?
I really would adore answers to these things...
@thearcanagame I need more worldbuilding. I love your game, but, gods, do I have questions about the world.I’ll probably have more as I continue the story.
Also, If there are already answers to some of these questions, I haven’t found them AND 119 PAGES OF ASKS IS A LOT TO DEAL WITH ON THEIR OFFICIAL TUMBLR.
