Last minute catch up school project blast (had to stick to a set theme mine being moon so I had excuse for blorbo drawing) (ignore the first one is marker and the rest are pencil I learned the hard way the paper could be bled through oopsies,,,,)

aau is so back (wrote a bit on chap 3 + as u can see I’m toying with ocified version of it for the sake of eng class/school projects to have a simple oc story as a back up thing bc all my current oc/fan stuff is too convoluted to use for hypothetical simple assignments lolol (I mean this IS kinda convoluted but at least I can keep it simple/to the point plot wise unlike vanilla aau)

I should emphasize THIS IS JUST FOR FUN. OG AAU IS NOT BEING TURNED INTO OCS/GOING ANYWHERE THIS ISNT A SHADOW OF SHADY SHORE THING IM JUST PLAYING TOYS/DOING IT FOR SAKE OF SCHOOL STUFF I LOVE AAU TOO MUCH it’s ok bc I get both :) AAU for my ahit autism purposes and oc!AAU for normie people purposes, though i could see the oc AAU going somewhere later on but again it’s NOT a replacement i can have my cake and eat it too (on that note of “oc!aau” tbh no idea for title or name stuff tho idk if u have questions just send em id love to yap or brainstorm further, esp bc ive not done any colored stuff yet its all just been concepts, i do think id wanna change Vanessa’s name, the others can stay bc theyre already pretty ocful and the Neth name is obscure/snagged from Shane frost, but Ven is a lot more hatty tine specific so again I’d love to play toys and brainstorm at all :3€)

also while yall are at it I’d also love some positivity.. Not getting into it but had a really awful irl events day yesterday and today and probably also tomorrow so getting to writing/character talk would be fun ,, 💜

Fully finished the Kelvios-ification of the AAU trio from my bestie @gracebethartacc @askamnesiamoonjumper ‘s AHIT fic! More to come but this is all for now <3 (Kelvios is an original world I’ve made up for some ocs I wanted to make!) AAU

Putting the Mostly Kelvios and MJ lore under a cut <3

The lore for what happens to MJ in this version (that I talked with Grace about in vc so this is not canon to AAU but it IS Grace blessed <3) It’s gonna be a lot of Kelvios Lore but once we get past explaining that we get to poor MJs no good time in “The Horizon” XD

Kelvios has literal rivers of the magic that flows through the world deep in the prolific cave systems Kelvios has, which is where the Batkin come from! The weird thing about Kelvios magic is it isn’t natural, and can best be equated to magical radiation! The magic comes from a juvenile member of a Eldritch planet eating Space Alien species that millions of years ago (think Paleozoic age compared to modern kelvios is modern day) attempted to eat the moon, but caught earths orbit and crashed in the middle of the continent. Being injured It then entered a hibernation and the magic flowing through Kelvios from the Alien rapidly mutated the world into Kelvios as it’s known now! The Alien is deep underground in a zone affectionately called “The Death hole” and when usually only able to be sensed Deep underground the magic flows in massive literal rivers throughout the continent! (Think Ghost busters River of pink ooze) Due to this property of it being other worldly it is highly incompatible/fatal with Kelvios species, with you getting sick from slight exposure while direct exposure to the magic itself is like getting a blood transfusion of the wrong blood type. Unless it’s very brief or very light exposure contact with Magic itself it’s fatal 99% of the time!

Now to MJ; MJ upon reviving manages to travel her way from the river into the cave system above it, this cave system is floor to ceiling made of reflective mirror like glowing white/red crystals and once she gets into this cave system the mirrors and crystals end up trapping her there for the entire time she’s canonically in the horizon! She thankfully doesn’t go blind from the glowing of the crystals (as batkin are very sensitive to light, going outside in the sun without some sort of veil/see through blindfold or protection and getting light flashed in their eyes can easily damage their eyes and blind them) but a little MoonBorn kid (werewolf Hatkid) is exploring the caves and when they intersect/meet Hatkid is running and turns the corner into MJ suddenly and partially/fully blinding MJ in her right eye 😭 Thankfully it doesn’t blind both eyes and then Hatkid leads MJ out of the caves following her trail and MJ gets out like usual! Otay end of lore bye bye <3
