I don't think your askbox is open right now but I just wanted to share the image of Geralt trying to convince Jaskier to just get down from the tree already, the monster is dead, and Jaskier actually quite liking it up here, the view is nice and the leaves are pretty and no he is not stuck, how dare you even consider the great Jaskier be stuck in a tree and too scared to jump down and okay fine, he's stuck, just please help him, he's scared of hights.
asdkasjdh Jaskier is Extremely Good at hiding from monsters, he’s had lots of practice at it, and he’s learned that up a tree is an Ideal Place to hide.
Howeverrrrrrr... Then you are Stuck Up a Tree, which is not the most dignified experience, and Geralt days he should “Just shut up and climb down” which is easy enough if you’re a witcher, but is Quite Different when you are a bard who is not the most athletic of people, and it becomes Rather Stressful Actually.
Eventually Geralt climbs up and carries Jaskier down in his arms though, so in the end everyone is a winner.
