My Mother In Law Experienced A Gradual Decrease In Eating Habits
My Mother In Law Experienced A Gradual Decrease In Eating Habits
To live we have to eat. We need food to energize our body. If we don’t feel like eating, there must be a problem. I am sure everyone has different experiences with their eating habits.
I remember my mother in law experienced a gradual decrease in eating habits when she approached 90 years old. It was starting with her dental problem. She still had several bottom teeth left, but they were in bad…

Tw a fib Update: I went to ther er with a migraine last night and ended up finding out my heart was in a fib... they tried to fix it and my blood pressure bottomed out so they admitted me. They are doing an echo in the morning to figure out what caused it hopefully. It was back to normal but flipped back into a fib. they will probably put me on blood thinners to keep it from happening again. 😞 I’m only 25 this stuff isn’t supposed to happen.
When you have to “remind” the doctor to go make rounds on the patient and then encourage him to tell her about the HUGE nodules she has on her lungs that are suggestive of metastatic disease per the CT scan. And then when you have to do his job and ask to increase the lovenox to a therapeutic dose so we are actually providing anticoagulation for her since she is in Afib and we are apparently holding her Coumadin for possible biopsies. Do they even look at what medications their patients are on? Do they care what rhythm they are in? Like yes she is 85 but the risk of stroke with Afib increases substantially after the age of 80. Can we please not let this lady also have a stroke in addition to the cancer that is killing her? That would be great.
A strongly worded letter to an urgent care doc
Dear urgent care doc, whose name I will assume is not @cranquis, because Dr. Cranquis actually has a brain,
Sure, bronchitis can cause wheezing and shortness of breath. Absolutely it can.
So can heart failure from A-fib with rapid ventricular rate.
Next time listen to both sides of the chest.
With love,
Wayfaring.
A Fib Part 7: What Success?
A Fib Part 7: What Success? @DMC_Heals, @ONTHealth #RobertStephen #AFib @TheWECHU
By Robert K Stephen (TORONTO, ON) – The Long Waiting Game. I have seen a plethora of statistics on the success of an initial cardiac ablation anywhere from 70% to 89%, but the explanations fail to define what success is for a cardiac ablation. Does it mean an entirely normal heart rhythm for the rest of your life and without any cardiac drugs? Does it mean normal heart rhythm for a certain length…

A Fib Part 6: Short Term Disability Issues
A Fib Part 6: Short Term Disability Issues @DMC_Heals @ONTHealth #AFib #RobertStephen
By Robert K Stephen (TORONTO, ON) – Congratulations if you have survived your cardiac ablation unscathed; which is about a 96% rate. Your immediate concerns are recovering from the actual procedure, which may be a bit unpleasant if you have had the ablation under a general anaesthetic. Lights out and a stress free procedure as all you remember is coming out. Then the chills, nausea, a terrible…

Nursing problems
So my windshield wipers just started freaking out and my first thought was oh my god they're in A FIB. Why is this happening to me?
