I believe I owe you an apology. I let my emotions control me the other night, along with quite a bit of wine. 🍷

When @duchess-shax started flirting with me, I was quite amused.

I thought you were going to be angry with her for flirting with me. Imagine my surprise when I realized, not only were you not angry with her, but you were hurt, that the person you call wife (who then denied it) would flirt with me. That the person you desired and, let’s call it what it is, love, would seek me out.

I didn’t realize the depth of your feelings for Shax. When I did, I was devastated, not just for myself but for the pain I felt from you. One thing led to another and quite a lot of alcohol was involved.

My husband @the-metatron accused me of an affair with you. He knows I have not. He’s just grumpy because he woke up with me in his bed, still the Immortal Virgin.

I came very close to an affair with a human. His kind words and gentleness almost took me to my knees. Thank someone, my crying, snotty nose. And calling him Madam brought that to a halt. He reminds me of someone……

I did write you a letter, which when it was back in my hands I promptly burned. I’m sorry I lied about that.

I know you said you would try to love me, but it hasn’t seemed to work Madam. I believe that’s my fault for instilling myself in your life, when you did not want me there, not in that capacity.

You didn’t want me as a human. I incorrectly thought if I was immortal it would make a difference. You would love me.

I wasn’t incorrect completely. Me becoming immortal, I believe made you trust me a little more. I believe you think of me as a friend. You took me flying, showed me the forests and the beauty of yourself. (And I KNOW what you smell like Madam)

I want more. You do not. I understand that very clearly now.

I think that @docdust can probably come up with some concoction to make me stop feeling the way I do. To allow me to be happy as your employer and I hope your friend.
