Hunger Games

Reverse 1999 Edition

I think most of us know how the hunger games work, but to keep it short and simple, the goal is to be the last one standing. Who will win and who will fall, let's see shall we.

(Also pls do note that there is going to be a lot of deaths here, and that since the simulator I used only has a limited amount of characters I could put on, I only used the characters that have appeared in the main game(except maybe for Medicine pocket) also added the greco's for more fun :))

(Yes, I didn't know who to pair up Constantine with so I chose the Foundation's president cuz why not)

Gotham’s Next Top Vigilante

So I watch RuPaul's drag race and I had this random crack fic idea. What if the people of Gotham decide they want to elect their own vigilante (the people's vigilante) to join the Batfam.  Some savvy tv producer hears of the idea on social media and decides to turn it into a competition show.

There’s casting calls and the show brings in young vigilantes from other cities around America to all compete for the position.

All the sudden, there's an increase of plucky orphans with bird names descending on Gotham to get Batman's attention, and Bruce doesn’t have any idea why. The are stopping petty crime, though, so he doesn’t pay much attention at first.

Each week, one of the batchildren (who are each doing this as a chance to mess with Bruce) designs a challenge for the competing vigilantes and one contestants get eliminated through a vote from the other batkids. Each of the batkids are treated like celebrity guest judges. They have judging panels. They conduct interviews. They are all systematically voting on who their next brother/sister is going to be. 

This goes on for an entire tv show season. Bruce still doesn't know what’s going on.

The show gets so popular that it’s become one to the hit tv shows premiering on Thursday night. There's watch parties and the JL members are taking bets on which orphan Batman will choose. They each keep trying to get Bruce to leak which one he likes the most but he's just "??? why are these people suddenly interested in Gotham. Nobody cared about Gotham before this."

Bruce finds out when he gets an alert on his phone that the season finale of “Gotham’s Next Top Vigilante!” is premiering that night. 

Bruce, predictably, isn’t happy to find out that his habit for adopting vigilante orphans has been turned into the concept for a tv show. He tries to shut it down, but they are in too deep. 

He can’t stop the train that is his highly-skilled, vigilante children trying to bring another into their ranks.
