Hey do you mind me asking whats your current opinion on chris evans? I remember a while back you mentioned you didn’t like him (as much) anymore, and you didn’t like some of his most recent attitude, so i was wondering why was that? I’m a bit nosy sorry, can’t wait to read more of your work!

I think you’re referring to the relevant bit in this hella long post. I thought there was another post to help explain, but not sure where. If it’s on the main blog, I’ll never find it😂 Anyway! The problem with A Touch Up was twofold:
1) CE got stupid boring, wicked fast after Civil War. Couple that with a job that can take a toll and multiple long WIPs running concurrent…welp, something was bound to suffer and it turned out to be ATU. The fic lost momentum, the other fics thrived, and time/inspo/energy easily went elsewhere with little regret because…
2) This was also about the time CE started round 1 with she-who-shall-not-be-named. She is problematic in many ways and him declaring the two of them to be the “same animal” was quite disappointing. It changed my perception of him, considering the disaster of a human being she is, and not for the better. I don’t recall there being a problem with an “attitude”, just his personal decisions.
In short: I never stopped fangirling over him. Just the inspo no longer aligned with the character…[shrugs]…but now that we’ve had our “old” (happier, busier) CE back, I’m optimistic for the story’s return.
