I’ve just had my fifth shot of testosterone, and something I’ve noticed is the changes to my voice - most notably, to my singing. Like, I’m not a good singer by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoy it. Unfotunately, now that my voice is coming from a completely different place in my throatit seems that I can’t sing at all. 

I was washing up and just went to sing Toss a Coin to Your Witcher and got a Shock when all that came out was a sort of, uh, reedy warbly not-voice. so yeah. wow. that’s new

Golden Eye Symbolism

In the Yugioh fandom, we see what we often - as a fandom - refer to as the Eye of Horus. It makes sense! It was seen on Egyptian artifacts, it related to the pharoah, and it looked similar the Eye of Horus, and I’m not fighting that.

You know what I am suggesting?

Horus, as the Egyptians knew him, might have been someone else... Maybe, someone related to the creator of the Universe, the Gentle Darkness???

Okay, just hear me out. I’ll start with facts from our world on why Horus would have been a good choice for the writers.

Horus was sometimes known as Kemwer, or the “great black one”

Horus was Osiris’ son/brother/counterpart(it’s confusing)

Horus’ celebration was during winter solstice, when shadows were longest and days shortest.

Horus was an upholder of Maat, the belief in justice, balance, harmony, morality, and law (The Gentle Darkness can also be translated as Righteous Darkness, which was essentially exactly what Maat stood for.)

Horus spent most of their life in conflict with Set, the god of war and battles, to maintain peace and harmony (similar to gentle darkness vs light of destruction)

His wife/mom(it differs based on the story) can also be connected to Yubel. Initially, she was a bloodthirsty deity intent on destroying humanity for what she considers sins, controlled and unleashed by the God of Light. However, she transforms practically overnight into the joint god of the sky with Horus, as well as the goddess of love.

Now, let me point out some fun little tidbits from the show itself that could support this theory:

Whenever the characters utilize shadow games or dark magic, the Eye of Horus is shown.

Dark Items specifically have this Eye on them. Isn’t that interesting? You need this eye on these charms, plus the magic that goes with it, to utilize the power of the shadows.

I wonder,,,, who else controls shadows,,, and has,,, gold eyes???

I wonder,,, whose power,,, is technically that of a gods,,,, who all shadows originate from???

So I’m not saying one of Juudai’s reincarnations was Horus but that is EXACTLY what I’m saying thanks for coming to my TED Talk
