he knew it was dangerous to leave the base, even more so alone. But he had to risk it. He would have to risk it for freedom. Only when the moon shined it's brightest did he swim. The guards changed over giving him a path of escape. He swam until his tail cramped in the middle of a plain expanse of ocean. Breathing, A small sigh of relief slipped passed his lips, as his muscles relaxed, the soft sound of water rushing passed his ears calming. However, it was only when the last drop of adrenaline left his blood did he begin to panic. The ocean was far too warm and far too cold.
It was then that he heard the cold shriek of a storm.
