A/n: Megumi and Yn are third years in this and I’m pretending the shibuya incident arc didn’t happened. And I took small liberties for this. 👀 There is a written part at the end. Hope you enjoy. For more~
Bonus~
-Megumi just finished training outside with Nobara and Itadori and was heading towards the dorms. You turned the corner from one of the building and that’s when you spotted them.
-You started to run towards them, your eyes turning into stars, determined to get to Megumi.
-The black divine dog was first to spotted you. They started to run excitingly towards you, so they can run beside you. That’s when Megumi noticed you. He had a small smile on his face but that slowly faded.
-see this is how it goes down. Just think of that one scene from Madagascar, where Alex is running towards Marty. Yeah that’s basically how this reunion is happening.
-Megumi though, was so ready for it. So he waited with his arms open. You finally get to him and you jumped into his arms and brought both of you down. The Divine dog was prancing around the two of you.
-Itadori and Nobara saying some greetings and laughing at your antics.
-On top of Megumi, you just looked down on him with a big goofy smile on your face.
-“Hi,” Megumi said, “welcome back.” then he closed the gap between you.
genre: Gojo x reader warnings: I just started writing so there might be mistakes.
a/n: honestly idk, it was one of those moments where I just started writing and this happened. lol so hope you enjoy this little something something. its short and simple and little angsty towards the end. lol
Honestly you weren’t even sure why you were standing there just watching. All you remember is that your feet stopped walking when you looked up from wiping the leftover water from washing your hands. You walked away from the group to go to the restroom and coming back, well it was a sight to see.
In front of you, a few paces over was a lady chatting and what seemed like flirting with Nanami. The sighting wasn't rare; you've seen people flirting with Nanami before. It’s just that Nanami was flirting back.
You looked around and finally spotted Gojo was near the bar ordering a drink, so you side stepped towards him. “Are you seeing what I’m seeing?”
“What?” Gojo turns to you.
“Over there! Nanami is flirting with that person.”
“Jealous?” Gojo leans close to you.
“No. I never saw him being interested in it... it's just interesting--well, he did tell me about this one girl from a bakery, but…” You trailed off as you watched the interaction.
“Hmm,” Gojo takes a sip of his drink.
The bartender hands you your drink, and you take a small sip before turning to Gojo. It was just a casual night out with Gojo and Nanami. You just had dinner and are now in this bar for drinks.
You kind of were glad you pushed Nanami to come to the bar after dinner. Now you get to watch one of your best friends possibly fall in love or maybe have a hook up or just whatever this interaction will become. The way Nanami looked relaxed made you feel happy. But then your mind wandered back to Gojo.
“What do you mean by jealous?” you asked again.
Gojo turns to you and laughs, “ talk about a delay reaction?”
“Do you think I’m jealous of that girl?”
“Maybe.”
“I don’t think of Nanami that way.”
“Noted.”
“Noted? Ha, did you think I liked Nanami more than a friend?”
“Maybe.”
You rolled your eyes. In the corner of your eyes, you looked at Gojo, and he was twirling his glass.
“I don’t. Well, not anymore at least.”
“Oh?” He leaned in closer to you. You continued to look over at Nanami and the woman.
“For a while, I thought I liked him more than just a friend...I-I then realized something.”
Gojo didn’t say anything, but watched you, waiting for what you were about to say next.
Is this how you really want the conversation to unfold right now? You thought.
Your attention was drawn back to Gojo as you sipped another sip of your drink.
“I like someone else.”
Gojo stopped his glass right near his lips. And remained silent. The noise of music and people filled the silence. You took a step closer to Gojo to test the waters.
“Yn-chan, who is this lucky person?” Gojo's demeanor changes, his tone slightly teasing. That relaxed you.
“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know?" You took a sip from your drink and had a smile as you kept drinking. Gojo fully turned to face you. He leaned on you slightly. You felt his breath near your ear. Gojo whispered a few words to you before saying something you wanted to hear.
“I like you too.”

Bonus~
"Hey Nanami-san, who are you looking at?" The woman that Nanami is with looks over to where he was looking.
It was really unexpected for Nanami to see an old classmate from junior high this evening at the bar. Particularly the one you mentioned that he, Gojo, and you should go to. And yet, there she was, with her arms outstretched, greeting him. She was a kind girl, he remembered. It was actually pretty pleasant to see her again.
Nanami noticed you returned from the bathroom and were talking to Gojo.
“Just my friends that I came here with...” Nanami looked at the two of you and then back at his classmate, “I would introduce you to them but they seem...a little occupied.” Nanami turned and gave a smile to his classmate. The conversation between Nanami and his classmate continued after that, but then Nanami took a small glance over at you and Gojo. Nanami showed a brief sad smile on the side of his face when he saw Gojo leaning close to you. He also saw the face you made at whatever Gojo told you. The look of pure adoration.
summary: You were suppose to hang out with Yachi and Yamaguchi, but those plans take a turn when you have to call them telling them the reason you couldn’t make it. Because you are at the hospital with a broken leg.

“Hi. I may or may not be in the hospital right now.” You said into the phone. Yachi felt her heart just leap out of her body. “But don’t let anyone know-
Unfortunately, it was too late. You could hear Yachi slightly shuddering as she tried to tell whoever was with her.
“WHAT!” You heard from the receiving end.
“Y/n!” It was Yamaguchi on the other end of the line.
“Hi, Tadashi.” You said innocently.
“Why are you in the hospital?” He yelled but you heard the concern in his voice.
“Don’t worry. I’m okay. Good even… I just may have broke… my… uh, well…”
“Broke what?”
“My leg…” you heard a big gasp. “But don’t worry-
“Don’t worry! Don’t worry? How can I not worry.! Yachi. Y/n broke their leg. Oh god. What do you need? Do we go to the hospital? We have to go to the hospital.” You brought your phone away from your ear. You could hear both of them panicking.
Yachi was used to hearing news like this from you, you have been her friend for a long time, so she knows how clumsy and reckless you can be, but that didn't stop her from being worried. Yamaguchi's panicking was rare. You wanted to laugh, but you knew it wasn't the right time. You knew he was going to yell at you once he gets the chance.
“Tadashi!” You finally yelled. You looked around the lobby of the hospital and started apologizing to the people nearby. “I’m okay. My mom is here. I’m actually going home. I have a cast for you all to draw and write on.”
“Ahh-
“Ahh?” You repeated. “Hello? Hello?”
“Hi, Y/N. It’s Yachi. Are you okay? Yamaguchi. Kind of tossed me my phone and ran into the store.”
“Yachi. I’m okay. Trust me! I’m with my mom. I’m going home. But that’s why I called you because I wanted to let you know why I haven’t shown up yet for our meet-up.”
“Oh-oh okay. Are you sure?”
“Yes. Yes. I’m tough. Don’t worry about me. I will see you later, okay? My mom is coming back.”
You said your goodbyes. You were bummed out because of the fact that your leg was broken but also because you were supposed to hang out with Yachi and Yamaguchi. But plans had to change.
It was already so boring, an hour in of just ‘resting’ already lost its fizzle. There was so much you could do, but your energy was set on hanging out with your friends today that laying around wasn’t it for you. You tried reading a book, you took some pictures of your cast, you scrolled on social media for a bit. But you still felt bored.
You decided maybe a nap was in order, you tried to get into a comfortable position, but it really was difficult with this cast. But after a few minutes, you found it, the position that you were comfortable with.. And right when your eyes closed, there was a loud knock and the door bursting open.
Yachi and Yamaguchi were at your door. Yamaguchi lifts up a plastic bag and you already knew what was in this bag. You shot your hands up cheering.
“My saviors!”
When everyone settled down, Yachi sat on your computer chair and Yamaguchi sat on the floor. Exactly as you predicted. Yamaguchi lectured you about being careful and safe after Yachi expressed concerns. And once he was finished he dumped all of the snacks he brought for you onto your bed.
“I really can’t believe that is how you broke your leg. Like really, Y/n? You jumped over your backpack…You know you can just step over the bag or I don’t know pick it up so it wasn’t in your way.”
“I believe it.”
You gasped, “Yachi,” You had your mouth open and you dramatically put your hand over your heart. You acted offended, but after a second you started to laugh.
“Have you told the others?” Yachi said as you grabbed another piece of gummy candy.
“Oh. Well, not yet,” you scratched your head. “But I will do it later.”
They nodded in agreement to your response, and the rest of the visit continued. You all finished the snacks, Yachi and Yamaguchi wrote on your cast. Pictures were taken.
Your mother invited them to dinner, so they stayed a little longer, which was nice since you were supposed to hang out.
After a while, it became dark and it was time to leave. Yamaguchi walked Yachi to her home, which wasn't far since you both lived in the same apartment complex.
While you suggested Yamaguchi sleepover, he insisted he wouldn't want to oppose. However, the blush on his cheeks told another story.
As you lay back down on your bed, you took out your phone. You decided it was time to text the others about what happened. As you looked at your cast one last time, you sighed and continued writing out your friends' messages.
Bonus~
-you messaged Hinata, and listen he is the third person in the group to be panicking. Right after you sent that message you got a phone call from him right away. You thought it was funny, and once you answered you had to try your best to understand anything he was saying. That phone call ended up being four hours long. Lol He was even more observant with you and he knew when to cheer you up on the days that having a broken leg bummed you out. Natsu also made you a really nice card that said she hope that you feel better and recover so the two of you can play again.
-you messaged Kageyama and all he said was okay. But he did the most when you finally were on crutches and when back to school. He made sure you were good and comfortable, but in reality, this boy was hovering, he made sure there wasn’t anything that inconvenienced you. You could feel his intense glare throughout the whole time. He moved desks even though you had room to walk, and if you gave him that chance he would have helped you move your hand to help you write. But you were thankful for the whole time that he did that for you.
-you messaged Tsukishima telling him that you broke your leg and all he replied with was ‘idiot’. He did end up visiting your home by himself with a strawberry shortcake bc his mom forced him to, ( and his own free will, but he won’t admit that) and during his visit, he wrote idiot as well on your cast. He would also meet up with you in the morning and walk you to your class even if he wasn’t in the same room as you and carried your bag for you.

a/n: okay pls don’t judge me but this actually happened to me. I didn’t break my leg, but I did sprain my ankle pretty bad. I was rushing to go get something lol and my gym bag was in my pathway and for some reason, I decided to jump over it instead and I landed wrong and my ankle did that thing and yeaaaaaaahhhh……. This was like when I was a 13 years old. I learned my lesson kind of. lmao
I know a broken leg might a little bit dramatic but its for the plot lol

“Oh god. I think I’m going to throw up.” You said feeling a little anxious.
“Y/n. You need to relax. Everything is okay. I mean Kuroo was accepted, so why not you.” Kenma said nonchalantly.
“Hey…” Kuroo looks over to Kenma shaking his head.
You sighed, “You’re right. If Kuroo was able to get accepted. I’m pretty sure I would be accepted too.”
“Hey!” Kuroo said too. You started laughing and you leaned on him placing your head on his shoulder.
“I’m joking.” you gave Kuroo a side hug.
“I’m not.” Kenma remarked.
“Are you all ready to order?” All three of you looked at the waitress that returned.
You, Kenma, and Kuroo were all sitting at your favorite restaurant, you got an email today and it is your acceptance letter. You saw the notification and you rushed to the group chat.
“And I think that will all be it for us.” You placed the menu down and smiled at the waitress.
“Okay, got it! Thank you, I will have your water and drinks soon.” The waitress left.
“What was I saying before?”
“Mocking me,” Kuroo remarked.
“Oh yeah,” you paused to chuckle, “I think I will wait until the food is here to read the email. So good or bad news, I will still have good food.” You gave a satisfied smile.
“And we’ll be here for moral support for the good or bad outcome.” Kenma offered.
The waitress returns and places the water and sodas on the table. Kuroo thanks her and then turns to Kenma.
“Did you get any emails from the colleges you applied for, Kenma?” Kuroo asked.
“Hm, yes I did. I got rejected by two, but the rest I got accepted. Just need to pick.”
“Wow. only reject by two.” You teasingly said, "Out of how many?”
Before Kenma could answer you the waitress comes back with some of the food.
“Here we go! Be careful they are hot plates.” She slowly sets down everything. “That’s everything. Does anyone need anything else?”
“I think we are good, thank you.” Kuroo gives a charming smile to the waitress. Kenma and you share a look and playfully rolled your eyes. Kenma gave you a small smile.
“I guess, it's time.” You open your email app. Your finger hovering above the email. “Okay! Okay. I don’t think I can do this. Someone read it for me.” you placed your phone on the table.
Kenma reaches over and grabs your phone and your hands go straight to your eyes to cover them.
“Kenma, give it to me. What does it say?” You said. But Kenma doesn’t say anything. You slightly move your fingers away from your eyes and look at him.
“Kenma,” Kuroo chirped in.
Kenma finally looks up from your phone–his face looking grim. You dropped your hands from your face. Your heart was going to drop. You knew it was hard to get into the university, but for a moment you thought you had a chance.
“Joking. You got in.” He reaches over and hands you your phone. “Congrats,” he gives you a smirk.
“Dude...” Kuroo started laughing.
“I-I-” You started trying to speak. “Kenma! You legit don’t understand how my heart dropped just now.” The dread was slowly starting to fade. “Dude you legit owe me one for scaring me like that.”
“I mean you had me too,” Kuroo said. “But yes congrats are in order!” Kuroo grabs you and hugs you tightly.
“I’m feeling so much better! All that nervousness is gone.” You sighed in contentment. “Now! Come on let’s grub.” You gave heart eyes to the different dishes of food on the table.
Kenma and Kuroo nodded in agreement.
The three of you started to eat. All that hard work you have done paid off. You got into the school of your dreams. This was going to be a new chapter in your life.

bonus~
“Can we get dessert?” You asked the two boys.
“I’m down for dessert.” Kuroo adds.
“Me too.” Kenma speaks as he pushes the door open to exit the restaurant. All three of you stood now outside of the restaurant on the side walk.
“And Kenma is paying!” You chirped in.
“What?” Kenma started to laugh.
“You owe me for scaring me, remember?”
“Mmhm. but only you Yn.”
“I’m offended!” Kuroo dramatically says, “First the mocking, and now I’m being left out with this free dessert.”
You started laughing and wrapped each arm around your best friends, and led them to start walking. Kuroo just playfully rolled his eyes.

summary: You are getting closer to the end of the semester and you haven’t started your film photography final project. And your best friend that is a model brings you along with their fitting with a fashion designer, so you can take pictures. And a bubbling new friendship or something more begins.
a/n: Hi! Hope you guys enjoy. This is my first fic for Tokyo Revengers. Let me know what you all think!~
“Y/n!Y/n!” You were greeted by your friend Mia as you approached her. Standing outside of a building that Mia had sent you an address to meet at for today's activities. You were contemplating if this was okay, you still felt like you were intruding. Even though your friend got the okay, you felt nervous.
“Hi...Are you sure that it’s okay for me to just tag along?” You asked again. “I can try to find-
“Of course! It's just a fitting. And I know you have to take photos for your film photography final. So it’s a win, win.”
“Sure.” You clutched your hands on the strap of your camera bag. Meeting new people wasn’t such a big problem.
When it comes to taking pictures of people, you have no problem. Just that Mia’s fashion friends could be a bit intense. You were used to taking pictures of random things you thought were aesthetic and your friends. Fashion photography was a little different from your usual stuff, but hey you thought this would make you better–a new challenge in your photography career.
Mia can see your hesitation. And puts her hands on your shoulders and shakes you slightly.
“Oh come on. Don’t be nervous. Like I said. It's a win, win for everyone. I get to model and potentially get free clothes, you get to take your photos, and Mitsuya gets to get free PR with your photos. And maybe more.”
She let go of you and waited at the door, then pressed the buzzer.
“Who is it?” A voice rang out over the intercom. You were going to meet Mia’s friend and her boss for the first time. There was a little excitement. She talked about him a lot and saw the clothes that he had made for Mia to wear.
“Who else, but your favorite model?"
There was silence and then “Who?”
“Oh come on!”
“I’m joking.” You hear a small chuckle. A buzzing of the door follows. The locks are unlocked. “You know the way up.”
Mia and you walked up a flight of stairs that then led you into this hallway. This building seemed less than welcoming. One would not have expected a whole fashion studio to be in this building. As soon as you got there to the main room, you looked around. It was beautifully decorated. This was what you imagined a fashion studio to be like, not your first thought. The entrance was pretty misleading.
“Hello, Takashi! My friend and I are here!” Mia starts plopping her things everywhere and making herself comfortable. She sits down on the couch. You on the other hand waited and held onto your bags.
“Hi.” Mitsuya walked from another room. You looked over and saw him. There was no denying that Mitsuya was very attractive. You watched him until he got close enough.
“Hello! I’m Y/n. Thank you for having me.” You bowed towards him.
“It’s no problem.” He offered you a bow in return. “I’m Mitsuya Tadashi.”
“Tadashi~ so will I be able to bring some clothes home today?” Mia walked over and placed her head on his shoulder and her hand on the other shoulder.
Mitsuya got hold of your friend’s hand and twirls them away from him. “Nope. Not today.”
“Oh come on.” Mia pouts and sits down.
“I can use this table?” Mitsuya looked at you and nodded. You place your camera bag down and started assembling and cleaning your camera.
Click. The shutter of the camera goes off.
There was a silence between everyone–the only thing that was playing was music. Mia was humming to the music that was softly playing in the background. Mitsuya was pinning the clothes and making some measurements for alters and you were getting the next shot ready.
Click.
You moved your camera away from your face. Mia was reading something on her phone. Mitsuya was focused on placing a new pin on the dress.
Click. You took a medium shot of him. He looks over towards you.
“This okay?” Mitsuya poses slightly dramatically.
You chuckled, “No you don’t have to pose. All candid if possible.”
“Let Takashi be the model for change.” Mia laughed out. “He has a pretty face for it.”
After shaking your head and laughing, you went back and got the next picture ready. You wined up the camera and looked around to make the next photo to your liking.
“So Y//n.” You looked towards Mitsuya. “ When did you get interested in photography?”
You lowered your camera. “Ah, well my dad was really into cameras. It was one of his hobbies. He didn’t pursue it after, but, um, he was glad that I took a liking to it. So that’s that. He was more into filmmaking than photography though.”
He removed the pins he was holding with his mouth, “Oh, did he make any films?”
“He did actually!” You got a little excited and you relaxed your body. “ Nothing too big–nothing that made him famous. But he was the cinematographer for a couple of films back when he was in the US with my mom. But when he moved back here, he stopped.”
Mia gasps, “The one you showed me a while back was really beautiful.”
“Yeah… It was.” You thought about your dad. You smiled.
“I would like to watch this film if possible.” Mitsuya went back to the clothes. He walked to the table next to him and wrote some notes down.
“Sure.” You smiled at him. Your eyes lingered and you looked over to Mia. Mia’s wiggled her eyebrows towards you. You silently mouthed ‘stop’ before going back to taking pictures.
You approached the two and started taking pictures of Mia. The windows in this workshop provided the perfect lighting.
“Takashi, can we take a break?” Mia yawned.
“Yes, sure. I’m done with this piece.” Takashi placed his pencil down and handed Mia his hand for her to step down.
“Oh, Kashi, oh such gentlemen.”
“Next time I will let you fall.”
You started laughing. And Mia just pouted.
“That’s no way to talk to your favorite model,” Mia said dramatically and crossed her arms.
“How are you so patient with her?” You said as you walked over to Mia and poked her cheek. You laughed.
“Hey! I’m very well behaved. I don’t know what you are talking about, hmm.” You started laughing a little harder after hearing that.
“Sure.” Mitsuya laughed along.
Another hour and another roll of film finished. After setting up your camera for the next roll of film, you decided to take a little break. You were able to take pictures of Mitsuya and Mia, some of his different clothing pieces. Took some pictures around his studio, just things you thought would work with the theme of your photos. You even found a cool-looking uniform.
She handed Mitsuya the clothes that she had tried on. Grabbing the clothes she wore here, she walked to another room. The dynamics between them were quite interesting. Mitsuya was very kind and composed. To Mia's teasing, he would have some good comebacks. When it came to her extrovert playfulness, he was patient. Mia was treated extremely kindly by him, and you were happy that she felt comfortable.
“How long have you and Mia known each other?”
The question took you out of your daze. You smiled.
“Childhood friends and next-door neighbors. Mia was over all the time.” You smiled at the thought of your friend. “We have been close ever since.”
“I had some childhood friends that I’m still close with…” Mitsuya takes a moment. “It’s interesting that I didn’t meet you before. I met Mia when we were in high school.”
“Well, I did go to a different high school.” You walked over to get closer to Mitsuya and looked at his notes. He leaned on the table and you copied him.
“Did you?”
“But I did visit now and then. I guess it wasn’t meant to be that we met back then.”
Mitsuya scooted closer to you. “I guess so.”
“Do you think we would have been friends if we went to the same high school?”
“Oh absolutely,” Mitsuya said and you turned your face towards him. “You would have lessened the workload of making sure Mia didn’t get in trouble.”
Your head lowered as you started laughing. You lifted your head and found yourself closer to Mitsuya. “I do remember having to lecture her when she came over when her mom told me about the trouble Mia made.”
“See. We would have been a team.” He gave you warm smile.
Mia walked back into the room. She looked at me and then at Mitsuya then into the space between you and him. Which you could admit there wasn’t any space.
“Say Takashi, you know.” Mitsuya looks over to Mia. “Y/n doesn’t only shoot with just film. They do digital. And I remember you saying that you wanted to update your social media presence. You should totally hire Y/n.”
“Mia!” You said.
“Oh come on, Y/n. Stop being so modest, you’re good. And I know Takashi knows that too.” She wiggles her eyebrows. “Anyways, I’m hungry–I'm going to get us food from next door.” Mia walked over to her bag then towards the hallway to the door. “Behave you two.”
Heat reaches up to your face. You for sure knew you were going to have a conversation with Mia later.
“Wait Mia, here is some money,” you pat your pockets for your wallet.
“I got it. Don’t worry.” She waved her hand as she walked away. You sigh.
Mitsuya went back to writing some notes down about the clothes he had Mia try on earlier.
“So,” You leaned on the table again.
“So,” Mitsuya continued to write notes.
“I noticed this jacket. What is Tokyo Manji-
Mitsuya’s phone rings. “Sorry.” He takes his phone out of his pocket and checks who is calling before putting it back.
“You could have taken the call.”
“It’s okay. I could call them back. I want to talk to you more.”
You both look at each other. You noticed how close the two of you were, and you got a little nervous.
“So!” You turn your head towards Mitsuya’s notebook. “What are you writing down?”
Mitsuya doesn't answer, but you feel his hand grazing the side of your cheek as he gently pushes some of your hair behind your ear. The action made you blush and you turned slowly to face him. You both look into each other’s eyes. Too lost in each other’s eyes. You and Mitsuya didn’t notice that Mia was back. You were slightly lifting your camera. You wanted to take a picture of him.
“I feel like I’m interrupting something.”
Your head darts towards Mia and stood up straighter. Mitsuya lingered looking at you for a couple more seconds and brought his head back to look at Mia.
“You were,” Mitsuya said and started clearing the table. Your friend gave you knowing eyes before coming closer to the table to place the bags of food down. You couldn’t help but feel the heat come up to your cheeks.
As the three of you ate, the conversation that was shared was about the clothing line Mitsuya was working on, your photography, and some auditions one of your friends was preparing for. It was nice getting to know Mitsuya even more. There was this mutual comfort that was forming between you two. It is amazing how he can make someone feel like they have known each other for a long time. Watching more of Mia’s and Mitsuya’s interacting was entertaining. There were moments when it felt like two siblings bickering, and that made you smile.
It was starting to get later, and you were able to finish taking enough photos, using two rolls of film. It was time to wrap things up.
After saying goodbye and convincing Mitsuya that he didn't need to walk you both to the train station, you asked Mitsuya for his number. You intended to let him know when you develop the film and get prints so you could meet again. But Mia was convinced your real reason was you were trying to shoot your shot. The entire time you were getting his number, Mia kept teasing.
Mia and you were walking to the train station.
“So Takashi seems to like you.”
“He was just… being friendly. But he is really cool. Glad I was able to finally meet him.”
Mia laughed. “Whatever you say. I know Takashi and… you know what–yeah, he was just being friendly…” She wiggled her eyebrows. “I’m pretty sure he was really 'happy' to meet you as well.”
Mia nudged you. The two of you walked to the train station together, and she put her arm around your shoulders as you laughed and talked.
“Kind of bummed. I didn’t get new clothes.”
You laughed again as your mind wandered to Mitsuya. Yeah, I’m really glad I met him.

“Tch, why do you always insist on taking these group pictures all the time? We just took photos.” Tsukishima pushed his glasses up with his finger. You simply shrugged a response.
“Oh, come Tsuki it’s not that bad…” Yamaguchi nudges Tsukishima. “Y/n enjoys taking photos of us.”
“Well, it’s annoying.”
“Damn, Kei. Breaking my heart.” You dramatically clutch your heart.
“You’re just being salty! Still mad that Y/n have that one pic of you, Tsukishima!” Hinata points out. Everyone tried to suppress their giggles. You happened to get a good goofy-looking photo of Tsukishima a while back. Let’s say it's good blackmail material. You started giggling remembering the photo.
Yachi finishes talking to the people from the yearbook club and makes her way to you and the boys. It was a free day for team picture day. The second and first years were in the clubhouse getting changed and getting ready to go home. It was just the six of you in the gym.
“What are we talking about?” Yachi asked with a smile.
“Tsukishima is being lame.” Hinata sings. “And doesn’t want to take a picture with us.”
“Whatever.” Tsuki mummers and slowly stands up from where he was sitting.
“Yeah, he is! It’s nice that Y/n takes these pictures of us. We can keep all these memories for a long time.” Yamaguchi explains.
“Y/n has really good candid pictures of all of our hangouts, trips, and some when we went to volleyball tournaments,” Kageyama said, as he finished the snacks he was eating.
And it was true, you did have many pictures of all of you and some with just them. You wanted to take as many pictures of your friends as possible. Because this was going to be your last year in Japan before moving to go to school abroad.
“Come on, Tsukishima. This is our last year together and I’m moving abroad.” You give him a bright smile.
With that Tsukishima stopped complaining, he went completely silent. Well, to be honest everyone went silent. An awkward atmosphere appeared. It was still a tough subject--it was out of the blue when you told them. It wasn’t something that was talked about or even mentioned in all the years you have been friends with Yachi and the boys. You would be moving to (whatever country you desire) for school. You felt like you needed something new and moving abroad was that something new. You can tell that it was still a little hard for your friends to be reminded, some more than others.
“You don’t have to remind me,” Tsukishima said quietly. Then he just walks away and exits the gym.
Tsukishima just walked away, shocking everyone. As far as Tsukishima is concerned, he didn't express any interest when it came to certain things--more of a lack of emotion in such matters. It was a big deal though to see him walk out at that moment.
“It’s okay. I will handle it.” You gave your friends a quick reassuring smile, before walking out of the gym as well.
You walked outside the gym and found Tsukishima near the stairs to the club room.
“You’re such a tsundere, you know this?” You teasingly said as you got closer to him.
He just looks at you and rolls his eyes. He doesn’t walk away from you so that was a good sign so far.
Your relationship with Tsukishima was unique. Although you both seemed to dislike each other at times, you and he were very close. It started when you two met back in the first year. But that's a story for another time.
“You know, I won’t be gone for that long. I do plan on coming back.” You sat down on the steps of the stairs.
He stays silent.
“We will always facetime, or call. I mean I know there are different time zones or whatever… But it’s not like I’m going to disappear.” You slightly chuckled.
“But what if you do?” Tsukishima says silently.
Now it was your turn to stay silent. Honestly, Tsukishima knew that wasn’t going to happen. But this was the first time in a long time he had someone that he truly cared about and they were just going to leave. He couldn’t admit it, but he was afraid.
“You really do think I’m just going to get up and leave you? huh? “ You squint your eyes towards him. “You really think I’m not going to give you a play-by-play of every day I’m gone? Hmm? Gosh, and I thought you were the smart one.” You said teasingly looking away for dramatic effect.
But you look back quickly when you don't hear an answer.
“Kei…look.” He looks at you, “Even if we might not talk every day when I leave. You would always be one of my closest friends. That’s not going to change for me. I just need... a change of scenery for a little.” You give him a warm smile but your brows furrow for a second. A thought has come to your mind.
“Wait, the first part that I said kind of sounds cliche…~I’m never going to forget about you.~” You laugh a little at your joke.
“Tch, you’re such… an idiot.” Tsukishima tries to conceal his smile.
Standing up from the stairs, you stretch.
“Come on. Let’s go back inside and take this photo. I promise you it will be the last... Of today.” You start walking back to the gym.
“I didn’t even agree to take the picture.”
“Then why are you following me back in then.” You turn your head and give him a smirk.
Joining the rest of your friends, you walked into the gym with Tsukishima.
“Okay, gather around. Let’s take this picture now!” You hopped closer to your friends. You pulled Tsukishima and slightly pushed him over to the rest of them. You turn around and lift your arms and take a selfie of yourself and your friends.
You looked at the photo and smiled. “Okay, one more! This time, just the five of you!”
While your friends posed for the picture, Hinata jumped on the floor with his arms raised. Both Kageyama and Tsukishima squat. Kageyama wearing a smirk and Tsukishima wearing a sad expression. Yachi is in the middle holding a peace sign, and Yamaguchi is smiling.
Once you have taken the picture, you give it to Hinata so he can see it. As your friends discuss the photo, you stare at them in awe. You were just thinking about your experiences with all of them. All the sad, all the happy, all the scary, and all the ones filled with love. Yachi nudges you slightly and you smile at her and join in the conversation.
“So what’s next, captain?” You pat Yamaguchi on the back and Kageyama hands you your phone back.
“Food?” Yachi suggested.
“Food,” Kageyama says. Everyone started walking towards the exit.
“On Tadashi, right?” You hold onto Yamaguchi’s arm.
“What? No, you can pay for your meal, Y/n.” Yamaguchi said to you.
“Oh come on. But you are our captain.” You pouted.
“You’re not even on the team Y/n.”
“I can spot you Y/n,” Yachi said sweetly. You let go of Yamaguchi and put your arm around Yachi’s shoulder.
“And this is why Yachi is my favorite.”
“Wait, me too, Yachi me too,” Hinata says.
“Sorry, only for Y/n,” Yachi says.
You all continue to bicker once outside the gym. Yamaguchi shakes his head as he closes the doors to the gym and locks up.

end notes~
a/n: This is slightly shorter than most I have written for these series, but I hope you do enjoy this small little interaction with Y/n and the “First Years.”. I kind of had trouble figuring out how I wanted to start. So I went the Karasuno first years as third years to start this series. I will inform what year they are in and each part because it’s easier to jump around timewise bc i made Y/n the same age as them in this. But thank you again!
Y/n wanted attention from Suna but the man was napping lol
A/n: thinking of doing smau kind of content but we will see 🤔 anyways this was an old text message tread between my cousin and I. lol thought it was funny.
