apollo is not only your boyfriend, but a lawyer as well, which makes arguments with him, even the smallest one, incredibly hard to win!
he'll always pull out some evidence and he's quite good with words, so he can nicely articulate himself, to get his point across. and especially when you're emotional, you can't keep up with his style of debatting
however, as of recently, you figured out a secret weapon to get your boyfriend to immediately shut up: a kiss!
especially while apollo is talking to you and not expecting it, you can easily pull him into a kiss and he'll forget EVERYTHING he was just about to say!
it's especially funny when you're arguing with him at his workplace and suddenly shut him up with a kiss! phoenix, trucy and athena already know he'll be lost for a couple minutes and they find it hilarious to watch him in that state…
Can I ask for a Phoenix Wright fluff fic... Something simple! Maybe sharing a first kiss! I was thinking of Phoenix from the first trilogy cause I love him a lot. I figure he doesn't have a lot of experience, he does have SOME but c'mon... He's bad with women, right? He's bad with anyone actually. I was thinking of Phoenix crushing on the reader for like some time now so it's a matter of time until he confesses and they share their first kiss, right?! I'm sorry if I rambled a bit..

You’re probably someone in his class that he works with/studies a lot during his last year of law school and he’s liked you since forever (and he’s not exactly subtle about it so you’ve known since like, forever too lmao)
The day that he actually confesses to you though is probably during a study session a little before the two of you are set to take your last exam
He’s been distracted by you the entire session and was acting really awkward and jumpy and you could just tell he had to tell you something but didn’t have the courage to tell you just yet
And because he’s so distracted, you’re starting to get distracted too and naturally, you have to do something about this
It takes you snapping your book close loud enough to startle him, looking him straight in the eyes, and taking his shaking hands in yours so you could ask him to “spit it out already”
And then……..he confesses…..in one big jumbled of mess of “i’vealwaysreallylikedyouandi’vebeendyingtoaskyouousincei’vemetyoubuti’vealwaysbeenafraidsinceithoughtyouwerejustsocoolandwouldnevergooutwithsomeonelikemebuteverytimeilookatyouallicanthinkaboutisjusthowmuchiwanttokissyouand-”
Naturally, you didn’t understand anything of what he was trying to say
But the moment you heard the word kiss? You simply got up from you chair and just did exactly what he always wanted to do to you
Immediately and almost comedically, he stops his rambling (mostly because you’re covering his mouth) but also because his brain starts to shortcircuit lol
It took forever for the two of you to get to this point, but now that you’re here kissing him? The only way for him go is up hehe
Mia Fey and Reader going out for hot chocolate together. Also merry christmas season
Going out for hot chocolate with Mia Fey
A/n: My first Ace Attorney post and my first Christmas post. I had some trouble coming up with pet names for this one because, surprisingly enough, there's not that many cute-sounding terms related to lawyers. Thank you for requesting, I hope you enjoy, and merry Christmas season!
Mia pushes her hair back as she breathes a sigh of relief. Another client found not guilty. Mia hates working around this time of year, both because no one should be falsely accused of a crime so close to Christmas, but also because she much prefers spending this time with you. Unfortunately, she needs the extra money to pay for your Christmas gift, so she'll take whatever work she can get.
As she exits the courthouse, she sees you standing outside, your hands in your pockets. Just the sight of you waiting for her is enough to make her smile even after such a long court session.
"I see my favourite assistant came to walk me home. How thoughtful of you."
She greets you with a kiss on the cheek, causing you to blush and give a shy chuckle.
"You don't need to call me that. Honestly, I think Maya does more to help you than I do."
"Maybe, but I don't have to spend a fortune on noodles for you like I do for her. Plus, I'd say you're definitely the cutest out of the two of you, but don't tell her I said that."
As you both share a laugh, she notices you still haven't taken your hands out of your pockets. Usually by now you would have them wrapped around her in a hug, or you'd at least be using them to hide your blushing face from her teasing.
"...My love, is there something wrong with your hands?"
Your blush deepens slightly as you look away.
"I-It's nothing, they're fine."
Mia doesn't even need to use her keen observation skills as a lawyer to know something's not right.
"My love, please, I want you to be honest with me."
You look back at her, then show her your hands, looking down in slight shame. They're completely bare, no mittens or gloves, as they shiver in the winter air. Mia lets out a sigh as she cups your hands together, then cups her hands around yours.
"You forgot your gloves again, didn't you?"
"I...I did. I just didn't want to worry you, since you had such a big case today and everything."
"My love, even with all the people I've defended, you're the one I care about most."
"...What about your sister?"
"Her too, of course, but this is about you right now. I don't want you getting hurt just for my sake."
"I know, I'm sorry."
Her look of concern changes to her usual smile.
"C'mon, I'll get you some hot chocolate to warm you up."
"Y-You really don't have to do that."
"Nope, I insist. Consider it a thank you for waiting for me in the cold for so long."
You want to protest, but given how well you've seen her do in court against professional lawyers, you know it's a losing battle. You smile as Mia holds your hand, and the two of you walk to a nearby cafe.
You both sit at a table. Mia drinks from her hot chocolate, while you're still warming your hands up on yours.
"So, what was today's case about?"
Mia stops drinking and lets out a sigh.
"Some poor actor was accused of murder. Everyone thought he did it just so he could get a bigger part. Honestly, I felt bad taking his money. I just wish I could do my job for free."
She breaks out of her train of thought to see you smiling at her.
"Hmm? What's got you perked up?"
"I just like seeing how passionate you get about your work. You really care a lot about people."
"Yeah, I guess I do, especially you, my love."
She reaches over to place her hand on your cheek, then wipes away a bit of whipped cream on it from the hot chocolate. She licks it off of her finger.
"You love calling me that a lot. Don't you have any other pet names for me?"
Mia pretends to think for a few seconds.
"Well, there's not really many "pet names" in the lawyering business...unless you'd like to be my little paralegal?"
"...'My love' works fine."
You blush from her teasing as she chuckles, then looks at you with loving eyes.
"So, how's the hot chocolate?"
"It's really good. It's not too hot, and the marshmallows taste nice. Plus, they gave me a lot of whipped cream like I asked for."
"I can tell, it looks like you got more of it on your face than in your mouth, though."
Your blush deepens as you take another sip of your drink.
"T-Thanks again...for treating me like this."
"It's no problem, it's the least you deserve for being so supportive of me all this time."
Miles would fantasize about indulging in his obsessive and possessive urges. So smug and suave and smooth. Cooing to you and stroking your hair as you grow confused, the pills he'd put into your drink taking affect. Or perfectly shooting down any arguments you make against dating him, flawlessly articulating his points to the point you find yourself speechless and unable to deny him. Or he'll find his eyes narrowing and a smile threatening to grace his lips as he imagines how easy it'd be to use his power to his advantage, finally taking you home and keeping you all safe and sound.
In practice, it's a much different story. To say Miles isn't great with dealing with his emotions is an understatement. God, he can't even flirt with you without being an awkward mess!
And as much as daydreaming is fun, the thought of actually doing it... Miles... Miles wants to what's right. He wants to uphold the law and be a beacon and deliverer of justice. He was announced King of Prosecutors, after all. He doesn't want to fall back in his principles, doesn't want to do what's wrong, doesn't want to hurt you.
Perhaps, just imagining it will sustain him. Well, at least until he's able to construct the mental gymnastics needed in order to absolve himself of his guilt.
Hello! How are you? Could I request a Edgeworth ❤️ x Mathematician reader who saves him in that one trial when he is accused of murder?? I know it's a crazy idea but 🤣 Maybe like they're discussing something with numbers and karma calculates wrong so the reader shouts that's wrong and corrects him
Mathematician!Reader saves Edgeworth
i’m doing well, anon! i hope you’re also well, take care of yourself, okay? honestly this is a kinda cute idea hehe, saving edgeworth with numbers! struggled a little with fitting in mathematics, but i hope this will suffice!
“So I summise that the correct answer to my findings, the bullet holes, the ballistic markings, each clearly counted which if you times the numbers, it should lead to a correct answer of 2.568. This points the conclusion that he is guilty, and I am not. Now, I demand a verdict—”
“Objection!” You yelled, standing up from your seat and pointing your finger at von Karma. Finally, you thought, a crack in his perfect composure. “You’re wrong. You claimed that 2.568 is the answer to your basic mathmatics, however, the correct answer is 1.348, making it impossible— the timings and ballistics are wrong all because of you, von Karma.”
“W-What? Preposterous, what would and insignificant child know about guns and numbers?” von Karma had quickly gained his composure, but you could see him trembling. Besides, did he seriously call you a child? Perhaps his perfect facade was breaking.
Edgeworth gave you an uneasy glance from his seat, though you ignored him, continuing to pursue defeating Von Karma, “With all due respect, Von Karma, I’m a mathematician — someone who works with numbers. I know my stuff, and you don’t.”
“P-Pah! Judge! This insignificant fool is interrupting the trial, have them removed.”
The Judge shook his head (to your surprise — you thought Von Karma would have a freater influence on him), “I cannot do that, Mr. von Karma, since the mathematician raises a fair point.”
“Y-Yes!” Phoenix jumped to grab this moment, giving you a smile as a sign of thanks for your findings, to which you smiled back at, “(Name) is right! Not that I would know much about maths, but they’re a professional!”
“I’ve run many calculations to double check my findings, I have the proof here,” You brought up a sheet of paper with an array of numbers scribbled upon it, “So I’m confident that my answer is correct, therefore proving the innocence of Edgeworth! Besides, I had a few suspicions about the bullets in this case…”
“I… This isn’t…” von Karma stuttered, eyes widened with horror as he clutched his shoulder.
“Therefore, von Karma, this is the final piece of evidence that PROVES you are guilty! Thanks to the other bullet, and the photograph, we have now found the truth!” You yelled, pointing at him dramatically once more.
von Karma let out an ear piercing scream, one that had lasted for a few moments, before admitting to his guilt. You had finally gotten him, you thought, releasing the tension you had in the form of a sigh.
You weren’t paying much attention to the rest of the trial, exhausted and ecstatic that you had proved Edgeworth’s innocence. However, you paid enough attention to hear the “Not Guilty” verdict and the hitting of a gavel to signify the end of the trial.
You were standing around in the defendant’s lobby, waiting to thank Phoenix for his work and to find Edgeworth. You hadn’t expected him to come up to you, you were a little surprised that he noticed you first, and not the other way round.
“(Name)… I’m indebted to you. If you hadn’t proved von Karma’s findings wrong, I would not have found the truth.” He spoke, bowing his head (you weren’t sure if it was in shame or something else), “I… I’m unsure how to phrase this.”
“No, no need to thank me,” Despite not stating the explicit words ‘thank you’, you had gotten the notion that he was thanking you, “I was just pointing out the contradiction in von Karma’s statement. Besides, I knew you were truly innocent, I believed you were and I sought to prove it.”
You could barely see a faint flush on his face, though he tried to hide it by looking away from you, “I.. I… I would like show my gratitude by treating you to a meal,” He stammered, you could see his face grow a little redder, “I-It is only proper to thank you this way, correct?”
A quiet laugh escaped from your lips, and Edgeworth gave you a preposterous look, “Of course, Mr. Edgeworth, we can go out for a meal.”
“R-Right, I—”
“Hey, It’s Edgeworth! And (Name)!” Maya called, bumping into both of you, “We won the case!”
Phoenix trailed behind Maya, looking tired from how long the trial was, “Yeah, thanks to you, (Name). Honestly… who knew that von Karma wasn’t… great at math…?”
“It might be that he purposefully spoke the wrong answers to gain an advantage,” Edgeworth replied, looking away.
“I’m glad we solved the case anyhow,” You smiled, patting Edgeworth on the back. He responded by stiffening up, probably because he wasn’t used to physical contact. “Let’s celebrate sometime, this was a long case.”
“Dinner’s on me, pal!” Gumshoe burst through the defendant lobby doors, cheerfully grinning. “E-Even if my salary got cut… this is a cause for celebration. Whoooooop!”
“Hey, looks like the whole dinner thing is sorted. Since Gumshoe is paying, you don’t have to take me out somewhere!” You nudged Edgeworth, though he shook his head at you.
“N-No, I insist that I pay for a meal, b-because we… I mean, I would still feel indebted to you.” He reasoned, “But… dinner, us… a-alone.”
Oh. How surprising, you thought, you hadn’t expected him to ask you out, though you weren’t sure if it was truly him asking you out. The implication was there, however, so you decided it was probably that (though you hadn’t expected him to be bold, if you could call his stuttering bold). In a way, it was charming, though you didn’t say a thing.
“Alright, alright. But first — we gotta celebrate with the others, okay?” He nodded, still looking away from you bashfully, gripping his other arm with his hand. You held out a hand for him, which he awkwardly accepted, to lead him out of the lobby and to the others.
“T-Thank you, again,” He said, the tiniest of smiles appearing on his face, “Truly. You’re an amazing mathematician… an amazing person overall.”
Miles Edgeworth didn’t like hugs, or at least, he didn’t think he did.
He moved through childhood, through adolescence, and finally into adulthood with little physical contact with others, so he didn’t really see what the big deal was. And after everything with his father’s death and the trauma that followed, hugs seemed to be the last thing on his busy, overworked mind.
So when you showed up at his office that afternoon, looking absolutely defeated and still clad in your work clothes, shoulders slumped, he was more than a little lost.
Should he make you some tea? Were you sick? Should he bring you home? Did something happen at work?
He stood up from his desk and moved to greet you, but you beat him to it, stepping into his office and closing the door behind you before crossing the floor. Your arms wrapped around his torso the second he was within reach, a deep sigh passing your lips as soon as you squished your cheek against his chest. His heart broke at the sound.
He remained completely still for a moment, refusing to move a muscle as you sank into his body. This whole world was new to him, uncharted territory after a lifetime of being alone.
What was he supposed to do now?
Pushing his uncertainty aside, he allowed his arms to return the hug and even ran a gentle, unpracticed hand up and down your back. It was nice, having you in his arms, having you so close he could rest his chin atop your head. He wanted to stay like this forever, enveloped in your warmth as you cuddled up to him. He relished in the feeling.
Perhaps he did like hugs after all.
As unanswered questions were about to leave his mouth, you uttered a quiet apology, “Sorry to barge in, I just really needed to recharge.”
His frown only seemed to deepen at this, “Don’t apologize. You know my door is always open for you.”
After a beat of silence, a few ticks of the clock, Miles asked, “Is everything alright?”
You sighed again, though this time you sounded lighter — as if some of the weight had finally lifted from your shoulders, “It’s been a long morning.”
He hummed as he moved a hand to your head, feeling your soft hair beneath his fingers. “Mm, I see. What can I do?”
You snuggled closer, squeezing him for a second before you replied, “Just stay like this.”
Miles smiled, returning your actions in earnest, “I think I can do that.”
Miles Edgeworth was by no means an expert in the often complicated and confusing realms of love and affection, but with you nuzzled against him, he was sure he could learn a thing or two.

When Phoenix figured out that he had a crush on you, it was a bit, uh- shocking for him- He became a bit awkward around you for a little bit, but put a stop to that really fast.
Why? Well, because turns out, Maya can sense that stuff from a mile away, and when she does, she’s RUTHLESS about it.
It doesn’t help that you’re almost like a sibling figure to Maya. You two are practically joined at the hip, y'all talk whenever you can, you give her advice, all that stuff.
If she- or, hell, anyone else- finds out that he likes you, HOO BOY, he doesn’t even wanna think about it.
Mostly because you guys are practically best friends, and he didn’t wanna risk losing your friendship if you didn’t reciprocate his feelings. He just had to wait out this stupid little crush...
Of course, even after all his efforts, Larry seemed to sense that something was wrong one day while they were hanging out after work, and asked what was wrong.
Phoenix knew he couldn’t hide it forever, so he told him. Larry was surprisingly chill with it.
He then offered to be his wingman. Phoenix declined, but Larry persisted. So did Phoenix. Eventually, they both just left and went home.
Little did Phoenix know that, not only was Larry STILL planning on being his wingman, but turns out, the next day, when he came into work, you and Maya had planned to hang out at a new burger joint nearby, and guess who was invited?
Yeah, that could NOT have been at a more inconvenient time.
And of course, he accepted.
After a very long day at work, the three of you walked to the burger joint and ordered your food.
Phoenix ended up sitting beside you, which couldn’t have been worse. He was just focusing on hiding his face so neither of you could see the blush on it.
Maya asked what was wrong, like, twice, and he just said nothing was wrong. You were a bit worried as well, but didn’t say anything.
After chowing down on your food- Phoenix lost his appetite, for obvious reasons, and gave his burger to Maya- you guys went back to your apartment/house/whatever you live in
You all decided to binge Steel Samurai- since you and Maya love the show and Phoenix had no other ideas-
Eventually you asked Phoenix to come outside with you, saying you needed to tell him something. He was a bit nervous, but followed you out the door.
‘This is it- they figured it out- i’m finished-’
“Phoenix, I think i’m in love with you.”
“...wait, what-?”
Yep, turns out you liked him back.
He confesses that he’s liked you for a while as well, now back to his usual relaxed self.
Then- suddenly-
“Hey S.O! Hey Nick!”
“(sigh) Hey, Larry...”
Larry proceeded to not-very-discreetly talk to you about how “cool” Phoenix was, until you eventually told him that you and Phoenix already confessed to each other and how he wasn’t even being a GOOD wingman.
He pouted and left, Phoenix being kind of horrified and embarrassed at his friend’s stunt.
You patted him on the back and gave him a peck on the cheek, and promptly regretted it, not because of something Phoenix did, but because you could hear Maya squealing from the doorway, and judging by the fact that the poor guy’s face was red as a tomato, Phoenix probably did as well.
