one of Basil’s longterm fantasies is to be a part of a Zevran/Alistair sandwich. he knows at least one half of that arrangement would be agreeable, and also like… been there, done that (frequently), would do again. just need the more bashful party to be down lmao.
Basil is quite skilled with a bow, but really only busts it out for things like hunting. and showing off. okay… mostly showing off. other than that, he loves his daggers too much to use anything but them in a fight. but there, there’s less showing off than there used to be. his fighting style has become less flashy and more practical over time.
the first time Blackwall braided Basil’s hair for him, Basil almost wept. it’d been so long since anyone but himself did it. Zev and him would sometimes do it for each other when they were traveling together, but the times he gets to see his favorite Crow are few are far between now. such tenderness from a man that Basil knows can be so brutish absolutely melted him.
