But to add a bit of shit regarding specific nuances in AAPI cultures and history, one of the largest reasons White people should stay the fuck out of it and in their lane is that 9/10 times they forget that Asians, particularly thoses in recent generations from their family's home country, have a shit ton of history BEYOND their existence in a white-dominated environment thatvis largely not taught or talked about in white-dominated areas
Asian countries are some of the oldest historical civilizations and within the countries - with A COUNTRY - there is a shit ton of nuanced history - good and bad - that apply to different groups.
Asians dont exist just as "immigrants and children of immigrants that suffer Asian hate in white / western areas" but there is a whole complex layer of shit within each group and subgroup that you really shouldn't touch if you dont have a personal stake or history with it because quite frankly, a kid who just learned division trying to add their commentary on a NASA astronauts calculations of fuel needed to get to the moon
The AAPI community has HUGE amounts of differences and tensions within eachother that are hardly fair or right to group together and the only real reason it is so frequently grouped together is cause a white and western world will never see us as anything but "Asian" and how we "all look the same" so in white and western areas , we are essentially in this together and being given the same garbage so its better to band together
But you get a Chinese person, a Japanese person, and a Korean in the same room and have them talk about their family's histories and it'd be a time.
Of course though, as a white person you arent expected to know the nuanced history of every culture in the world, what you ARE expected of is to stay in your fucking lane.
