He really didn’t mean to let this slip.” “It’s not him slipping I’m worried about,” Seth said before he could stop himself. “Yeah, that’s fair,” Aaron said. “Look, I get you don’t know me from Adam, but I know a thing or two about wanting to keep your personal life private, especially at work. You and Miles dating, that’s nobody’s business but yours, and I’ll do my part to keep it that way as long as you need me to. Scout’s honor. Besides, birds of a feather gotta stick together.” That got Seth’s attention so fast it left him a little lightheaded. “Birds of a feather?” “Friends of Dorothy, if you want,” Aaron said easily. “But Liza Minelli snubbed my dad at the Grammys back in the day, so Dorothy’s no friend of mine. You know what I mean?” Seth’s mouth opened, but no sound came out. “Anyway, you wanna meet face to face, we’re gonna head over to this bar I like in West Hollywood,” Aaron said. “Miles’ll send you the address. First drink’s on me.”
