Art trademark: Tight, squiggly curls in your inks. The silhouettes they make are very distinct!
Ahhhh considering I used to struggle with silhouettesthat’s super flattering xux Also curls are way too much fun to draw.
I just wanted to say bless your tags on my dopey Vincent comic and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thank you for making that comic. It made me laugh after having a really bad week. Also, anything that pokes fun at Vincent in a good natured way without tearing him down always gives me a little joy. ;D
“Salt” for each of your OCs? ❤️
Salt: Would you consider yourself a mean person? What is it like to fight with you?
Lynn: Gosh, not really. I probably should be meaner than I am. I mean, I won’t say I’ve never wronged anybody ever, but if I can avoid it, I do so. I usually just really don’t see the point of being mean. Everyone has their own problems, why make life for them more difficult?
I tend to avoid fights, I’ve gotten in a few in my life and in most I just don’t say a lot. When I was younger I cried easily when I tried to argue with someone, that’s better now fortunately. I’ve got to admit that I tend to just agree with the other person to avoid any more conflict. I just really don’t like it.
Liz: ‘Mean’ is such a mean word. I don’t think I would really intentionally hurt someone’s feelings if they don’t have it coming. Often they do, and then, yeah, maybe. If they start an argument or are rude to me or my friends they can definitely expect me to say something back. I’ve been told I can come off as ‘rude’ sometimes and that I have ‘a short temper’ but usually I don’t mean to. In fights I just like to tell other people my opinion or how I feel about the situation. Sometimes I say things I don’t mean in the heat of the moment. Sometimes I apologize for that. Sometimes not.
Seb: I suppose not? I mean, sure, if I can help make the other Team’s life sour, then I take that opportunity, but is that really being mean? They’ve messed with us plenty, so. I don’t know, I guess I’m neutral on it. As for fights… I don’t get into a lot of those, purposefully, because the other person would definitely lose and I can’t make them lose face like that. Just kidding. But for real, if you actually somehow manage to anger me enough, I will make you regret it.
Thank you so much for your question!
Inktober day 1 and 2! Two spooky ghosts! Sorta!
The first is Bean, aka Bianca Fortune from the comic Lapse by A. M. Alecci ( aayemae ).
The second is Bethan from Chirault, by Thane

(ಥ⌣ಥ) You. I see how it is.
How you you describe Wahida's relationships with each of her family members?
I'll summarize her relationship with her mother with a story when I was working with my own mom to translate the first 15 pages into German. In page 12, Wahida addresses her as "mother." In the translated script my mom first gave to me, she made Wahida address her mother as "Mami," something similar to "mommy," in English, and argued it was more endearing. I had to tell her that "Mami" was inappropriate for their relationship, and I would prefer her address her mother as "Mutter" ("mother") instead.
Her father is another step further away. Since he hasn't showed up yet, I won't detail anything else.
The reason for the lack of any real affection towards each other is due to her parents' roles as King and Queen combined with events that happened prior to Wahida and even Hadima being born that will be revealed quite a bit later in the story.
Hadima on the other hand, is really the only person Wahida is close to. With their parents being busybodies they mostly just had each other growing up. Wahida and Hadima did have caregivers (they don't appear in the comic because they're not important to show) but Wahida is only close to Hadima as Hadima is the only one who she can relate to.
As far as more distant family is concerned, her father's family is fragmented in one way or another, and can't see the sisters often, if at all. Her mother's family lives fairly far away in the Upper Desert, so they seldom visit.
aayemae replied to your post:I drew this nice art in return for some free...
D: Have you tried downloading the tablet driver on that comp?
I decided not to because I'm waiting for a new computer. The one I'm on now isn't mine so if anything happens to it, I really don't want to get blamed for it haha. And I was kinda just hoping my tablet would work like a mouse without pressure sensitivity / the driver but ahh u__u
