Today my sister told me that she listened to a song and there was a part with a scene from a movie and it was driving her nuts that she couldn't find out from which, so she made me listen to the scene. The only thing she already figuered was that it's probably Keira Knightley's voice. So I listened and before I even heard the whole thing as soon as his voice was there I thought "is this James McAvoy? No I'm halucinating, because I watched to many videos etc. with him lately" But then I recognised the scene (how couldn't I, it was the "why are you crying" scene from atonement) and I still can't believe she had this question right now...

Guilt. There are so many books handling the meanings and the thousands of forms of guilt. What makes "Atonement" a good one is the discreet, but accurate elaborated psychology of the formation and consequences of guilt. Concealed, wearing and inescapable guilt. . The young gardener Robbie wrote a smidgy love letter to Briony's older sister Cecilia. Briony read it and evolved an antipathy against him and wanted to protect her sister. When her cousin Lola got raped in the dark, she was very fast with accusing Robbie falsely as doer. That was momentous. The psychological impact of the book also gave me a antipathy against him, but after reading about his and Cecilia's sight, these two became favorites to me. And Briony, I was never a fan of the naive girl. What's interesting because of a little text twist in the end. . I didn't understand why the author made a omission of not telling us Briony's way after her insight, I like when they play with omissions, but that felt undefined. But the way he portaits the lovers makes McEwan a great romancier. And I love how the Second World War came in, and how pictorial he described the part of the war in Dunkirk.
