Hey guys! You should go read this blog post about an awesome talk I went to by Marissa Meyer about Renegades (I’m trying to do a blog where I actually make content instead of just reblogging awesome stuff like I do here).

If I were to cast Abjure while having Hive Mind in play, and use Hive Mind as the sacrifice for Abjure's cost, Abjure won't be copied by every other player, right?

Correct.

A spell isn’t cast until you’ve paid all of its costs and won’t trigger things like Hive Mind until that time. Since Hive Mind was sacrificed to pay Abjure’s additional cost, it’s no longer on the battlefield when Abjure becomes cast and thus can’t trigger.
