Pope Francis: Abortion is like hiring a hitman

In his general audience Wednesday, Pope Francis said that abortion “suppresses innocent and helpless life in its blossoming.” “Is it right to take a human life to solve a problem? It's like hiring a hitman,” Pope Francis said in St. Peter’s Square Oct. 10, in a departure from his prepared remarks.

When Pope Francis said abortion is like hiring a hitman it really does have the same meaning. When a baby is aborted, they have no way of fighting back or doing anything to not get aborted. When babies have disabilities some parents won’t even think once without getting an abortion which is very cruel and is pretty much committing murder but is legal. I believe that every person has the right to live even when you are still inside of your mother. There shouldn’t be a difference.

Things that make me sad...

Abortion makes me sad... it also really pisses me off: It's not your body your deciding for.. Abortion is making a choice for a child not the mother.. every person has the right to live and allowing abortion is denying that right... Small rant I have so much more to say about this...

This is horrific. The illusion that abortion is health care, when all parties are either murdered or wounded , is hard to swallow. We live in this culture, and we allow this. Please pray for abortion clinic workers and Dr's, that God reveal the true nature of what they are doing. Pray for our precious citizens who are ripped out of the wombs of their mothers. Pray for the mothers who feel they have no other options. Pray for those who don't think this is a problem. That’s laughable.Without further hesitation, a report by NBC news:“U.S. women are dying from childbirth at the highest rate in decades, new government figures show. Though the risk of death is very small, experts believe increasing maternal obesity and a jump in Caesarean sections are partly to blame.

Some numbers crunchers note that a change in how such deaths are reported also may be a factor.

The U.S. maternal mortality rate rose to 13 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2004, according to statistics released this week by the National Center for Health Statistics.

The rate was 12 per 100,000 live births in 2003 — the first time the maternal death rate rose above 10 since 1977. To be sure, death from childbirth remains fairly rare in the United States. The death of infants is much more common…”See that? The chances that this situation that you’ve brought forward are so slim it’s amazing. What’s even more amazing? The causes are primarily C-Sections and Obesity. Two things that can be controlled.Even with this situation being SO rare, let’s say it did happen. Let’s say a woman does find out that her life is in danger. This is probably the only case where I would say the option is hers, because it’s about killing something with no other means than saving her own life. Killing still, but more of in a "self defense" situation. This is a matter of who’s life is more important in the parents’ eyes. Personally, I would still attempt to have the child in this situation, because I feel like that child has so much more to live for than me. But other people are entitled to their choice here. It’s whether they feel like they should live or die, they’re protecting their own life. Even though I would do anything to give my child a life I can’t tell someone else they have to die for their child. I don’t see why you wouldn’t, though.Is it like talking to a wall now? I just agreed with you. Personally I feel like you’re blind since you haven’t ever talked to me before and called me crazy. I think it’s crazy to come forward and accuse me of having terrible views when in reality I share one of yours.
