So this made me check my AO3 settings

It's a public skin called "Reversi" basically a dark mode for your AO3. I'm a very big dark mode enthusiast, it's everywhere on my phone

No beta reader / no grammar check tags on AO3 doesn't mean the author is looking for someone to do it, it just means there is no beta reader and no grammar check. Period.

Finally posted a Hansry fanfic

And ran away from AO3 shortly afterward to hide behind tumblr. Honestly, it had been in my mind for a while. I finished that chapter some time ago albeit it was just a chapter that I wrote for reference for the "real" fanfic. It is one Suchdol, post-siege, moment. I almost did not write the smut. The whole thing was already so long. Getting to the smut felt like a chore at that point, but yeah, I powered through and somehow it finished. I thought it was okay so I finally published it.

I think if I had stopped, it would be okay too. The story centred around Hans and Henry taking their time with each other, but yeah. I said I wanted to write lemon, so lemon I wrote.

I honestly felt happy with the amount of fanfics in the Hansry fandom for months that I didn't feel the need to make one myself. But yeah, the inevitable happened and I got ideas, and I couldn't run away. Especially because my ideas are often very peculiar and detailed, so I couldn't really rely on other people to magically whip up fanfics that match my ideas.

Whoa, after all this time, I finally need to use AO3 filter for more than language for Hansry fanfics. It's big enough now. 🥺 I wasn't there when the community was so tiny (I didn't even play games back then because my laptop couldn't handle anything more complex than visual novels 😂) but I was there before the total amount of Hansry fanfics hit 1k and I felt like I had read everything. 😂

Now I need to use filter. Man. I used filters and there are still more than 1k fanfics. 🥺

I'm just glad that I am not that reliant on AO3 these days. It's kind of weird that I do read my own writing even though it's not done yet. Yeah, to be fair, it's like 30k and 80k words of fanfics, so yeah, it's passable for reading. Also, I think this is why I don't publish fanfics anymore. I'm too in love with my fanfics, but I don't think people would love them. It's the toxic duality that I have.😂

Anyway, I think I'll be okay without AO3 because I have HADES 2!!! I need to get to the ending. Pray for the death of Chronos, good friends. Also for my hands. I don't want carpal tunnel. 😂
