Cricket dilemma

So... They won't shut up about Michael getting better and being ahead of his deadline. But the consequences of his return are really hitting hard and I don't think I'm ok with him coming back at all. As much as I really want to see him play. I don't want to see him sitting on the sidelines, but at the cost of George who I think has the ability and the will to turn his out of form summer around with his leadership of Australia in the World Cup, it is not worth it. I think so many great innings are to come for him now that Michael coming back is just going to destroy that. I feel his uncertain place in the side solely from the captain returning is not helping his form. And a little certainty of his role in the side would come as a great relief for George. And I mean Michael and George can play in the same side really, if they take out Steve but Steve is immovable. For too many reasons. And deservedly so. And Michael's batting has not been exquisite when he has played, (apart from his innings in Adelaide but I feel we all know something else was fuelling that.) But they'll choose him over George any day. So there is my reasoning for being unsure of Michael coming back for the world cup. Because George has too much to offer, and I honestly don't know how much Michael has to offer anymore. We can win without him. Which takes me to after the world cup and to the Ashes. As much as I want to see him back in the test side, I honestly don't know where we can put him. And I also don't know if he should captain. I mean Smithy is just so wonderful and such a humble young man. And clearly his captaincy not only brings success and makes his teammates really play, but it brings out the best in him too. And I feel like, for Michael to come back and take it off him, Steve would never refuse, but we won't be impressed with it. It's just how I feel. I know a lot of you aren't massive fans of Clarke already. I mean he was the first player who I saw start playing for Australia and really followed his career. So, I can sometimes have a soft spot for him. But after our first (almost) Clarkeless summer, I just don't see him in the sides anymore. And his complete desperation to get back is almost annoying for me now. Which hurts. But I don't see him coming in and taking over again when things are so settled, with George as one day captain and producing win after win, and with Smith as test captain and producing win after win too. And they are such calming influences on the team so the sides have found a real zen. It's like, why stir up things by bringing Michael back in to take over both? He is known for not necessarily being too calm and being a bit intense. Last thing we want is a divided team. Thoughts?
