CONTROVERSIAL OPINION BUT I'M ON TEAM NAM DOSAN 🫡
I’M SHOOOK!!!
I only have been learning that South Korean
writers... in some kdramas I have seen, view artists [especially fine art media types, you know painters, sculptors, those types] as either bums, or complete psychopaths....
which one is it?
Because I'm both. You have yet to meet me.
*cackles into oblivion*
*comes back*
write about me, I need someone to acknowledge that two things can be true at once.
*cackles more*
Or don't.. don't give a fuck either way, but it is an observation I made. I recently went back to watching kdramas, and while I did catch maybe one or two filled with cliches ones. I picked up some that are more up my alley... you know... like more about crime and serious tones.
Hi! I'm so glad to hear someone else likes You're Beautiful. Most of the people I talk to seem to dislike it. But I love it, maybe it's because it's cliche? Sometimes you just want a fun, simple drama where you know exactly what you're going to get. And I love Park Shin-hye! But anyway, if you're interested in some recs, I saw Hotel Del Luna like a month back and I thought it was really good. I'm also completely obsessed with The Untamed (chinese drama) right now.
Hello there! and gods yes! I adore You’re beautiful! It’s incredible sweet, and I love how all the group protects her, sometimes even from herself lmao! I also love the parodies of Genie and Suju XD! And how they show ANjell in those variety shows. You’re Beautiful is great, imo, inside the rom-com cliche, because it doesn’t take itself too seriously at times. And it’s great to see that.
Also the music is pretty good, and the background stories are interesting and they don’t drag like in other dramas. Idk I think, like you said, it’s a simple, fun drama that makes you smile and sometimes we need that :)
I was going to watch Memories of Alhambra because of Park Shin-hye, but when I learned how it ended (yeah I check that sorry not sorry as some dramas gave me unpleasant surprises) I just turned away from it.
Thank you for your recs! Going to check them asap!!
<3
I am watching reply 1994 and ibknow the ending right but god i am pissed all the signs show [redirected] as the husband yer it changes in the end. How on earth does the hints end up to that [redirected] being thr husband. God wow i am too invested in a 2013 drama
Kdramas world… it’s so predictable yet soooooo addictive. You have the second lead that you have to fall in love with who always gets his great broken. You have the girl that isn’t very smart/pretty/poor. You have that moment when finally rearing the end of the drama he touches her pinky finger…
Aaaaaaaah the joys of it all. Enjoy that boy tho!
YOU ARE WATCHING CHEESE IN THE TRAP AS WELL YASSSS I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THE DRAMA I'M GOING TO WATCH EP 5-6 TONIGHT DHFBSJHBSG
